This place was ok. I have been to many Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and this was one of the least inspiring. The tables were not cleared or cleaned very regularly. There was one staff member who seemed to be busy doing most things.

Great pub in the old Midland Bank building overlooking the Assembky Gardens. Good food and wide selection of drinks all at very reasonable prices served by friendly staff...brilliant!

·

My food was adequate,my corona tasted like dirty lines and there was no vinegar, but I don't even care because Rich's attitude was fantastic, such a jovial young man, made a substandard experience a good one.

·

It's a wetherspoons not a lot to say. Unique surroundings as always. Staff as usual busy doing their jobs, very friendly and attentive. Very good value breakfast clean surroundings and toilets etc.

·

I haven't personally been, but my friend told me about how he was racially abused in your establishment and how you tactfully and respectfully handled the situation. Not really related to your food, but thank you for doing that. Some good in the world after all.

·

I mean as most know they dont have music so that's one sad thing. When it's cold the heating off and just off putting, staff say we're hot behind the bar but all the paying customers sitting in jackets. Not nice

·

A special location, accessible both inside and outside. Food, drink, sometimes fun. The prices are in line with the local as well as its ultra-central position.

·

Disappointing breakfast, not very hot, tomato cold and uncooked, or not cooked very much. Fried eggs hard, and rubbery texture, bacon cold, beans warmish. Good points, sausage, hash browns and coffee hot. At present not serving meals after 8pm, due to staff shortages.

The best Wetherspoons in Coventry, but nothing special really.Food is usually okay but clearly made very hurriedly, for eg burger would have a cold slice of cheese on it, not even heated for a few minutes. Portions are not very large and vary wildly, especially chips. The lack of attention to food leaves the experience mediocre at best, with a lot of dishes being half cold.Staff are quite nice but very overworked, needs to employ more people. The app ordering system is very simple to use and makes ordering efficient and quick. At the end of the day this is a huge chain and will never be as good as a smaller shop that pays attention to detail.

Great place...what more could you want...bery friendly staff, cheap witherspoon prices...clean and tidy as always excellent toilets...THE BEST.... Great pub...will be going there again soon the next time in town....
