Popular pub in centre of city. Well kept beer, tasty food at very good value price. Busy atmosphere created by clientele of all age groups. Quick service. Recommended

I'm giving 1 star because I can't give 0. Service was horrendous. When ordering steak, we asked if we needed to say how we wanted it cooked, but the female staff member just said it comes as it is. Never heard that b4. Cokes came out flat. Asked for fresh coke and a spoon for a pudding. Had to go and do it ourselves. No one ever came back to the table. Would never go back again. Awful place.

It's a an affordable good ambience place in Coventry. Most of the alcohol are at a cheaper rate and the cocktail taste good too. Most of the dishes are pocket friendly and affordable.. very good place to hangout with friends and family. Must visit place .. it has cuisine ranging from Italian, indian , continental food. Will visit again and will definitely try the breakfast once ..Enjoy eating 😋

Nice meal on a Sunday afternoon shopping trip to Coventry from Birmingham. Steak was a little bit tough but still very tasty. Will visit again 😋👍

Moving from America to Coventry, this was my first official pub I'd ever been to. I was so shocked at how people just sat around all day hanging out talking, eating cheap food and drinks. Well, that was over 5-years ago, and I've gotten used to pubs now. And I must admit that this one runs very efficiently! My husband and I go to this specific pub once a month to grab a tasty meal and a drink for less the cost of two lattes at high end coffee shops. We leave full and satisfied, and it doesn't break the bank. It's a Grade Listed building, which means the architecture of it can't be modified, so you get really quirky stuff, like an ancient staircase, and a crazy number of additional stairs in order to actually use the ladies toilet! 😂 (There's a disable toilet downstairs, but it's only right to use the normal ones upstairs). The place is kept up nicely, with seasonal Christmas decor in December, and it's regularly cleaned. There's no old stench smell here, which is a good sign. And above that, the staff are really great! There's been a turn over throughout the years of course, but the good ones always seem to stay on. They offer quick and efficient service. There's outside seating in the front, which anyone and everyone seems to occupy... it's mostly for the smokers. But there's a lovely warm weather outside seating upstairs around the back - non smoking. My favorite thing about visiting is the unlimited refills for coffee, tea, lattes, mochas, etc. It's a really nice automatic machine and tastes great. So count me in for breakfast! And if I go for lunch or dinner, then a full-sugar large Pepsi is in order! I do wish they'd work on their dessert menu 😭... but the quantity and taste of food for the cost makes up for it.So if you're in Coventry and want to check out an authentic ancient pub, this is the place! Be sure to check out all of the historic pictures and drawings around the place too and on the way to the toilets!

Fantastic first visit to wetherspoons Coventry for us, great service and friendly staff, talk about value for money in a large premises.

·

Large establishment with plenty of tables. There is step free access at the main entrance however all of the tables and chairs on this level are all of the bar stool type so not suitable for wheelchair users. The higher level area up a few steps have the normal height tables and chairs. Here the very helpful staff will open the emergency exit to allow wheelchairs in from the street.

Beef madras typically Indian meal. Taste is good. Wine merlot is amazing. So soft taste and good.

Ordered nicked grill and cheese pizza food was great for the price can only fault that mixed grill did not come with a decent knife lucky enough the pizza did would definitely recommend food here
