The Holyhead in Coventry

Alright. Pub. Quiet Sunday night I was in. But sound, nice beer, friendly staff. Two thumbs up. (Needed a pool table for that extra star from me....personal choice. It's more food oriented I felt).

Absolutely fantastic bottomless Friday night! Food was second to none as were the drinks. Melissa who served us was absolutely brilliant and made the evening really enjoyable. Highly recommend the Holyhead!

I was in Holyhead Pub Coventry for a friend's birthday party on 13 February 2022. The interior design of the business was wonderful in all its details. Having live music made our party enjoyable. Service was very fast and the food was great. Also, the staff were friendly and helpful. It had a large car park and we had no trouble parking our vehicles. However, after parking our vehicles, do not forget to register your vehicle by typing the plate of your vehicle on the screens within the enterprise.It is a very pleasant place to visit both on special occasions and when you want to have a pleasant time.

Service very slow, charged for extra meal which I didn’t order. Food was slow and cold, the pub is in desperate need of a make over but isn’t clean at all. Toilets were a disgrace. To top it off I put my reg for car park in the machine and have now had a fine of £85 come through from euro car parts. Whole experience was laughable and the management need changing.

All resolved now and have since ordered 2 roast dinners which were lovely. Ordered a takeaway. The steak was fine but the amount of potato was shocking and it was stone cold. Definitely not worth the money.

Ordered the festive gourmet burger along with few other items through Uber Eats on 27/12/2021. The burger was delivered, but no pig in blanket or fries as per menu. Feeling cheated. Never gonna reorder again.

OK don't know if it was busy but we dropped in to the Holyhead pub for a quick bite before attending a carol service.No indicaltions there was a long wait for food as girl showed us to the table.Ordered food for 4 people on the phone app.1lhour n 10minutes later the one starter came out.Vegan bites which were dry and overcooked.Hour n half on We have now missed Carol service. Finally the food arrives.Really poor hunters chicken for me, overlooked dry scampi for the wife, and dry tasteless vegan burger for daughter side of chips were soggy.So only two stars from me food very poor delay in service hour n half inacceptable. Girl serving was rushed off here feet but not attentive did not offer us condiments and tartar sause or anything.Cask ale was not good either.Will know not to go again

Staff are really friendly - shout out to Chloe who goes above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable. Amazing food and drink choices and quick service.
