I usually find wetherspoons food average. But food here was really nice! Decent portions, piping hot and comes quick. I had a burger which was as good as other places I've been to and paid double, really enjoyed it!

Went today for food lovely meal I had scampi and my daughter had a burger which she said was really good 👏 the pub is such a lovely building inside and out, haven't been for a long time I'm trying a breakfast next 😁

Food was good just a few more chips needed there was only ten on the plate

Average .food .thay have reduced food menu a lot .prices of drinks are amazing tho .staff wrk so hard .but tables cud do with clearing quickly .but staff not to blame as they seam very short on staff at the mo . so thay do there best .

Food took ages to come after ordering and staff didn't seem to be bothered. But once food came it was well prepared and very nice

I've give this one star because on this occasion that's all it deserves!!On two occasions in my 2 hour visit I was felt invisible for the first time in my life,two staff were behind the bar,one serving,and i was next,erm no...the next customer turned up and was served and then another!so after 11mins I went back to my table and ordered via the app and was server in 3mins!!!This happened twice,I thought my second attempt going to the bar I would be served and then all would be OK...nooo I was felt invisible again:( well this would be my last drink ordered on the app and served in 3mins unbelievable!.New to the area,so will now find somewhere else that welcomes my custom.Sad day wetherspoons as I've had no problem at any of your other establishments!!

Absolutely APPALLING, best thing was 99p ale and the lavatory. Staff need to cheer up, I know its covid however people are still speeding their hard earned money. I also brought 2 battered prawns and a 11inch bbq pizza. The prawns were luke warm and no sweet chilli sauce my bbq pizza was cold had skin from the onion still on top and no rocket as specified on the menu. However one staff member Megan saved the day, so polite, kind and offered alternatives to our queries. If the whole work force were like meagan it would have been a pleasure however the experience together with the staffs attitudes I would not recommend nor return to this establishment.

Pretty standard Witherspoon, except for the beet garden and covered smoking area at the back, and some of the staff that are pretty amazing such as one of the managers that's been there 26 years and the 'Try our Lager' wee model ;) the locals are all pretty friendly and the place runs like a well oiled engine.

Have come in for a cheeky breakfast after leaving the motor at JB Autos. Service with a smile, clean and tidy, made welcome on arrival, ordering and once the meal had been served. Good breakfast, with tasty all cooked items, yokes on eggs just right :). Will use again when coming back.
