The Mount Pleasant in Coventry

Affordable price for Sunday dinner. Nice rump steak with good side dishes. The environment is good. We took a sofa table. The staff are nice. They cleaned the seats and table before we got the table.

Literally called up 5 mins before turning up to see of they could seat 12 people. They sorted it out straight away. Food came out quickly and all around the same time. Really good food and good portions. Lovely friendly service. Very good price.

Had a great time for a girly catch up. The food was lovely. One friend has allergies and the girl Suz behind the bar was brilliant making sure that nothing was in the dishes we ordered that would cause a reaction. She got all the details and checked everything. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Busy small carpark, busy pub, good menu choices but Tuesday they had no eggs even though Asda is nearby. We had to wait an hour for our meals due to being busy. My friends gammon was rather fatty and took her a while to eat. Staff were very friendly. I would visit again to try more of the exciting menu.

Nice pub serving quite an extensive menu, something for everyone and good for a pub lunch or family evening out. The food is ok, your normal pub grub but it's a pleasant pub and the staff are nice. Definitely worth a visit.

Sorry to say but very disappointed on our visit to Mount Pleasant this time. We had to wait over an hour and 20 minutes for our food to come out, they told us it would be up to 45 minutes. The time wouldn't have been a problem if the food was nice. The chips was cold and they were like bullets My wife scampi was very cold at no point did anybody come and ask us if our food was OK, we have been many times and I have had good food. But this time they did not have half the stuff on the menu. Now this could be down to deliveries but when the food comes out it should be good, no excuse for this.We will go again and hopefully it will be a better experience.

Love this place, spent many a time there with late father in law. Came after Birmingham christmas market last Sat and had his fav meal. Lovely food, friendly staff. Will visit again when we're that way.

Most of the food on the menu they never had, No stake, No Jacket potato, No tikka, No salad, No cheese, No Cod, No Coleslaw, No Salad they were plenty more, i wanted the stake but I had to settle with the Quadzilla burger and I had some scampi, I think that it all was frozen then cooked as there was no taste,y partner had Chicken and mushroom pie that was still cold in the middle. we had to send it back. My boy had Southern fried chicken on a fajita style sizzling plate, which I think was frozen as they were no flavour and watery, my daughter had the children chicken nuggets and chip, she said they were fine, I don't think id recommend this place to nobody very disappointed.Update: Considering they asked for the opportunity to put things right and for me to contact them, which I did, I've still heard nothing back. Thanks for that Mount Pleasant.

The food I had today was just as good as it was before and the staff are very affable too. The restaurant is very clean and neat and there is a nice atmosphere there. It's just another one of the places that I would recommend anyone to visit.
