I like to go here for lunches.. it is not too busy and they have got some lovely vegan/vegetarian options. Good choice of ales too!! The corner table next to the window is our favourite place to sit. Friendly service from their brilliant staff

I went there few days ago, saw this beautiful pub and we decided to stop. We order some food that arrived after 50 minutes or more. The steak was hard, the vegetables were frozen and watery when were eaten and the salad was very chewy.I put two stars because of the place.I would suggest the staff to improve a bit their food. Thank you

Good atmosphere, really nice food and good service. 4 of us enjoyed Sunday lunch. Enjoyed the experience.

We booked for a party of 13 on valentines day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was lovely and service excellent. Thank you to the staff who decorated the tables for us and made the day special. We really do appreciate it and will definitely return.

This public house ticks all the boxes. Six of us went in for a meal today and it was a lovely experience. Three real fires set the atmosphere for a pleasant couple of hours. The staff were helpful and friendly. The meals were well presented and very reasonably priced. Tables well spaced and a pleasantly designed interior added to making The Open Arms right for us.Parking is good And there is easy access for those who are less mobile. This pub is highly recommended, but book up if you want to give it a try because it is popular!

Thank you to the friendly staff who assisted and made us feel welcome 🤗One of the best menus I’ve come across with an impressive selection of vegan/vegetarian options for Starters, Mains, Sides and Desert all on a dedicated menu.I was spoiled for choice quite honestly. We were sat in a cosy spot by the fire for lunch with a few friends and were able to spread out a bit and relax. Good access at the front with disabled parking and pleasant terrace to the rear.

I'd booked a table for 2. But when arrived, was told they'd sent a message as they were unsure to serve food due to a problem in the kitchen. Showed them my emails/texts etc as I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY MESSAGES FROM THEM. Staff not very interested in what I'd got to say, so we left and took our business to the Burnt Post where the staff are so much nicer.

It was busy on arrival so we seated ourselves in a nice cosy spot that happened to be right next to the warmth of an open fire. It was remembrance Sunday and we remembered...after a hearty roast which I must say., was delicious! my friend and I headed to Memorial Park, the crowds had gone by then and it felt we found our peace sitting on mum and dad's bench beside the tall light monument I could sense them in the gentle breeze..I'd definitely return to the 'Open Arms' in Cov.Thanks

With much expectation we went to The Open Arms, placed an order for Steak, Chicken, and Cocktails. Steak and Chicken were over cooked and hard. The prices were equivalent to any good restaurant. Service was good and staff were courteous and helpful. I would recommend the management to improve the quality of food.

A friendly and relaxed pub where you can sit and chat with friends. I love the 'new' menu - lots of healthy food and different options. There are also fixed price menus available throughout both week days and evenings.
