Sophia is amazing. Her customer service skills are perfection and I couldn’t ask for a more welcoming bar staff. I can only praise and praise the work she does for your bar. She definitely lightens the mood and makes young customers feel very welcome! Thank you for being such a great bar woman

This is a bar I visit occasionally on my returns to Coventry. In recent years I've found the bar a bit dark and lacking life. I was pleasently surprised to find it light with good atmosphere and friendly staff. Hope it continues in this vein

Nice building housing a traditional old boys pub, with racing on the screens, eighties music playing and an air filled with the patter of a room full of sixty somethings.

It was a dump when it was the tudor rose and it still a dump now all they done is change the name and knocked down the balcony and dj box.

Love this pub, very reasonable prices, can get very busy.. We travel from Wiltshire to Coventry and have always been made to feel very comfortable. Great atmosphere when they have live music 🎶

Great night out in CoventrySinging was my daughter but she was welcomed very warmly by the punters and the bar staff and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Fantastic pub. Staff very courteous and helpful. Going into the pub for the first time.....woman on her own to see XL perform their first gig for almost two years. Felt safe and welcome whilst waiting for friends. Fantastic night! Wow.....what a performance XL, thank you to all involved. 'Thank you to The Philip Larkin' for your warm welcome. Oh what a night!

Very polite and inviting staff and good beer.One of the very few places that actually have polite, well-mannered and friendly door staff.So many other places and door staff could learn from them.They have a few TV screens for sports, usually with the sound turned off and have music playing. And they regularly host live music.

Nice pub ,has been tidied up since last in there. Outside smoking area. All good
