The Tollgate in Coventry

I went there with my dad to have breakfast. Excellent customer service especially from a waitress I think was named Nicole. She did a great job of making sure she provided the greatest customer service with a positive attitude and professionalism. Overall, great staff, affordable prices and great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back !

Lovely Easter Sunday lunch, gentleman at the carvery was superb! Really lovely with the kids and a slight mistake with one of the meals was quickly resolved in a friendly manner. Mia and Lily were really helpful and friendly too.

Such a fantastic experience - always such a warm, welcoming ambiance, with wonderful food and really friendly staff! Thank you to all of the staff involved in making our visit as lovely as ever - special mention to Mia and Shannon, who were so warm and chatty! I am a frequent visitor, and as always, cannot wait to come again for another wonderful Carvery!

Absolutely terrible food. Everything was burned. Beacon impossible to bite. Eggs looked like made of plastic. Just avoid this place please

Fabulous dining experience from entrance to exit. Super hungry and with a little person in tow! Excellent Sunday carvery, freshly prepared together with table service from Grace who delivered cookie and ice cream to little person and looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble….Highly recommended by the Abbott gang.

Lovely Food, and good service even though it was very busy. Fitted us in as big table (9) last minute and food was served quicker than they anticipated. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

Will be back for the breakfast, had a carvery today an it was decent. The chef Gavin made our visit, grate attitude, very helpful and the staff in general was good people. I'm shocked this place is not rammed. Good value for money, good environment, family friendly and will definitely be back soon.

I haven't been to the Tollgate for a long time and was glad to see it had changed as it did look very tired.Myself my husband and daughter came tonight we all enjoyed our food.Gavin was helpful on the carvery deck so was shannon who was serving drinks.Stuart was making sure all.of the guests were OK and had what they needed which is really nice to see.Lovely food and service will be back soon

Had a lovely lunch out today at the Tollgate with a couple of friends! Our server Shannon helped out so much, taking note of all our needs and making sure our food was exactly what we asked for! Thank you for the great service, making for a great lunch out!

Nice food! But service extremely slow at both the bar and carvery. Looked under staffed, and they concentrate on their take away service to the detriment of diners eating in.
