The Wallace in Coventry

Descent pub, staff were friendly. But the real ale let them down in my opinion.

Lady taking our order was lovely... was so attentive and lovely to me when I asking about allergies and thing. Offered all the extras and double checked order with me. Thunk her name was Lou... or something like that.But the food was a disappointment... salad was hot (obviously been left in the kitchen), lasagne was overcooked and burned. When asked to change it the young girl said there was no point as it would come out the same anyway. Fish was lovely but chips were freezing. Disappointing after receiving such lovely service from the lady at the bar.

Can't recommend this place enough. Fab venue, and great food and drink. Staff always seem busy but they always put customer first. Definitely my favorite place for drink and meal

Kitchen was closed till 5....all but.one meal came out lovely but one meal went back twice and come out the same both times so got money back but one of us had no food. Go here quite often normally lovely....and restaurant staff are lovely

The lady that served me called kath was very helpful and polite, met all customer service requirements. Asked how long the food would be before putting my order through, brought over all our sources and informed me how long our food would be. Very friendly, what a lovely lady, will definitely return again.

Really good food that was very prompt. Excellent service from all staff members especially the man call Nav, who was very helpful, nice and kind and not just to me but to other customers around me. I would very much like Nav to hear of this feedback if possible!

Booked a table this week which was cancelled after half an hour. No reason and left us out on a limb trying to book somewhere else at short notice. Have been before and food was good for the price and have no concern with food.

No food after we sat down to order, you were OK if you just wanted bread and waterHad enough of what we wanted for 1 person but for 5 you had no chance.Would have been nice to have been told this on arrival but after 15 minutes they decided to let us know

I took my family here on a Thursday night for a meal to end the holiday. We rang prior as my wife has dietary requirements and we wanted to know what choices she would have. The answer was that the chef there (Josh) would cook her food from scratch so we booked to ensure we could get a place. It was the start of service about 5 so not very busy. We were welcomed by Charlie and Victoria who did everything possible to ensure that we had all information. Also helped us to entertain our 5 and 3 year old whilst we decided. Sorted quickly and served very quickly considering the food for my wife being cooked from scratch so very impressed with that. The team did a terrific job. We were very happy and we cannot wait to come again. I used to go to the elms however this is a much better place we feel as you aren't filling yourself up on old wilting free salad. We came away satisfied.See you again soon guys. Well done!!
