Zeenat Kebabish Restaurant in Coventry

The chicken biriyani was great, plenty of chicken which were very tender and the rice was really aromatic and cooked perfectly. The sauces really compliment the biriyani but I wish they provided more. The salad was a bit dry but still not too bad. Overall highly recommended!

Ordered collection for full chicken, when I got home chicken was bitter and burnt. As I use to work in fast food they did not clean the grill when applying the sauce to the chicken so the previous order that was made on the grill burnt the food and we had to throw away. When I called restaurant instead of offering to send us the food by delivery they said bring it back and we will give you another one, so I have to waste petrol to come again and bring a order back that they messed up? This is not reasonable. NEED NEW MANAGEMENT

Not fresh. We ordered Afghani kabuli pilau but they put some other lamb curry meat inside the kabuli pilau. Where we could see the red sauce of the curried lamb. Chicken biriyani was tasteless. Chicken karahi and lamb karahi took more than 1 hour and half to be ready but nothing very special.Only the chapli kebab was delicious.Service is very poor

Went with family all the way from Birmingham was very disappointing with the cod masala fish it smelled bad.Had the afghani balti which taste or flavour to it.The service was so bad had to wait so long for food to come.Had to go back couple times to find out what had happened to the nan we had ordered.Only for it to turn up after we finished eating.Also the waiter was not intrested when we had asked where our food was.Definitely will not be going there again.Just a shame can't give it a zero feedback..

worst food ever i had, especially biryani, its half cooked amd tasteless. No one can eat it. I also ordered carot halwa, which i thrown in dustbin after having 2 spoons. Best avoid it, i won't usually post reviews but doing because its that worst

After 3 years in the UK, this is the first time I have ever tasted some food that is as good as it can be! Amazing flavour, great taste, good portion, it was perfect in every way. It almost quenched my hunger for authentic hometown food. Thanks to the wonderful chefs of Zeenat and the team. Made my night :)

Lived in Coventry all my life and have eaten in restaurants all over the world. But this one is special and the food is delicious indeed!

Really nice food, proper fresh and delicious. The lamb Karahi was the star dish. The mix grill was bursting with flavours. Fries were tasty and cooked well. Highly recommend this place. Next time I’ll be back for the rice and afghani lamb Karahi for sure.

Diabolically Unhygienic - DO NOT EAT OR ORDER FROM HERE.I ordered the lamb Biriyani and the fish starter.There was a dead fly in the Biriyani. I ordered from the just eat services. When calling up the ‘restaurant’ to tell them the problem, I asked to be put through to the manager.The manager was very dismissive and verbatim denied any form of reimbursement. Convinced that it was a lie on my part.THERE WAS A DEAD FLY IN THE RICE. THEY CLEARLY HAVE ZERO MEANS OF CLEANLINESS. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TRAINING TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMER QUERIES AND COMPLAINTS.
