Portion sizes were abysmal. My friend ordered a Guinness on draught and we saw them pouring it out of a can. I ordered a medium rare steak that was half well done and half spit. How on earth they’ve managed to cook to different halves of the same steak different is beyond me. Cocktails were half ice half pineapple. Service good though. Italian woman with dark hair was gorgeous and needs marrying.

Food was pretty good apart from the dessert, stay away from the home-made tiramisu as its a 1 out of 10. When I told the waitress all I got was "well that's how it is here" which sums up the service as everyone who works there was miserable that night!

First visit to Cafe Casita. Greeted by friendly, welcoming staff. Alcohol free gin suggested for the driver. Great food served piping hot and at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and attentive throughout. Good car parking to the side of the restaurant. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal here on Friday 14/1. We had an early sitting (6pm) as they were fully booked for the evening. My vitello a la porcini was beautiful as was my starter and dessert. All in all my wife and I really enjoyed the good food, excellent service and pleasant staff. We will be back. Thank you.

The food is simply amazing! Good sized portions and an authentic Italian experience.The service was quick, thorough and friendly. Also the decor is quite quirky and makes a nice atmosphere.Overall a great experience. Will definitely visit again!

Visited for the 1st time tonight with my husband and 2 children (4&9)Absolutely beautiful food, fresh and flavoursome and fast service. A nice traditional setting and lots of choice. 100% recommend, Anna, Mario and the Staff are so warm and welcoming. Thankyou for a great evening. p.s I highly recommend the pink gin cheesecake 😋

Been wanting to come here for a very long time after driving/walking past it, and my partner has wanted to come here since she’s moved here. Hand sanitizer upon arrival with track & trace check in code. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and all very masks. The lady we had who served us throughout our time (apologise I forgot her name began with A I think), she couldn’t have been anymore helpful. With a very wide range of food, she told us everything on the menu was very nice as she has tried everything! The decor of the restaurant is what I’d expect in a typical Italian restaurant, very rustic and has a feel of being in Italy. To start I had the belly pork with Jack Daniels sauce, I’ve never tried belly pork and it was so tasty and very tender. My other half had the goats cheese in filo pastry which was also very nice. For mains, I had the Risotto con salsiccia (spicy sausage, peppers, onions, garlic, tomato and chilli). It was so nice I’m glad it was a big portion as I wanted more! I don’t think the sausage was spicy but overall I was very impressed. Other half had a cheese chicken & mushroom calzone which was also nice. We had a nice bottle of white wine which absolutely complimented the whole meal. For dessert I had sorbet and other half had a deep fried cannoli once again both really nice. Reasonable priced meal for two people, and very highly recommended. Plenty parking and we will be back soon with our family. Very authentic home cooked Italian food and Cafe Casita is way better than some of these chain restaurants!!
