Just back from a fantastic night at the Castle View Hungry Horse. What an amazing night. Jon, couldnât do enough for us and made sure we had a great experience. In fact all staff were superb and so busy but extremely friendly like you were the only patrons there.I couldnât rate this place highly enough for the fantastic food and superb staff. Will definitely be visiting regularly from now on and such amazing deals with the food tooWell done guys you were superb. Keep up the good work!!

Very good portions. The fish and chips are divine. Had them twice and impressed both times. Others had burgers and just as satisfied and generous. They like to please and get the food out quickly. Couldn't complain. Very relaxed and welcoming.

We love coming to this great bar/restaurant! Whenever we stay in Dudley this becomes our local for the duration of our visit. The breakfast is lovely and reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much bother. In particular, one staff member, Edel, is really warm and cheerful and always makes us feel very welcome and relaxed. Thank you for the great service!Rab and Suki x

Massive improvement on food since the last visit. Staff are great with the exception of one who was very rude to the people waiting at the bar.

1st time here and we loved it. The staff are so friendly and smiling đ The food was lovely too. Compliments to the chef, our steaks were cooked to perfection and a decent amount of food. Thank you4 ââââManagement, some of the seating pads are in a very bad way. The leather is terribly cracked, harbouring germs, they look awful. This could have been tided during lockdown!

Family friendly pub serving up good food, mostly. The fish and chips big plate was phenomenal. The burger wreath was disappointing. As you can see in the photo, the chicken slider is really disappointing. Just a small goujon in a dry bun.

The first time i dined in here was great - no complaints there, however the second time some of the staff wasnât as professional - there seemed to be a very relaxed approach to cleaning the tables (in current times youâd expect them to be wiped / sanitised immediately after guests).I didnât receive a glass upon ordering a bottle at the bar (a slight niggle yes - but one that determines overall service)The evening i dined on was 30/12/2021, which was a Thursday. The restaurant wasnât running at capacity at this time so i would expect service to be on point, as i stated previously a little pride in keeping the tables clean and tidy would go a long way into improving the dining experience

Massive pub with lovely food/drink at reasonable prices. Plenty of free car parking right outside.Service can be a bit slow at times though. The app is pretty temperamental and doesn't always want to work. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and background music.

Been in a few times food is always nice and the waiter Owen is friendly and just has a general good vibe. 9/10 the menus are sticky but not anything too dramatic and test of the place is clean.

Had breakfast there a couple of days ago. Helpful friendly staff, nice freshly cooked food. I had the 'Breakfast In Bread' and couldn't finish it, a truly big meal.
