Rock Fryer in Dudley

I wasnt impressed at all. Went with pie and chips and i wont be going again unfortunately.Chips we soggy, though fluffy inside and the pie was microwaved within an inch of its life. Pies are neant to be oven cooked and the lid is meant to be crisp and flaky. The pie just sank when i took it out its foil.Sorry i cant recomend here. :(

Had a large mixed chicken meat and chips. It was good but nothing any better than anywhere else. £7.90 is far too expensive. I can literally get just as good or better for cheaper. I don't expect to get the bargain of the century and I get prices are going up left, right and center but that price is taking the mick. I will not be coming to you guys again.

The food at The Rock Fryer is so good, I order from there multiple times a week and I am never disappointed! The only issue is my ever expanding waistline, I can't get enough of their delicious food!

Utter rubbish , chips cold curry sauce has wired off taste. And the portion for the regular mixed meat and chips is very very questionable for the price.Even my kids didn't eat it. Had to go somewhere else.Never again will I use the rock fryer,and I will only give friends and family the negative experience I have hadHonestly use mc Donald's because that is by far superior for both price and quality.

You can always tell a good fish and chip shop by the amount of people in the que. The food was great and at a reasonable price

can you give a minus star i was on the phone to my son who was in there i thought it was rammed by the sounds of people talking after about 10 minutes i said is it rammed in there he said no the men behind the counter were chatting between themselves, i presumed they were waiting for chips as usual then i said say excuse me are you waiting for chips when turned round and said no we are waiting for the women, after altogether waiting 15 minutes to get servef i said leave it then, when another customer walked in one of the males served them straight away, IGNORENT COMES TO MIND only had to go there because i had no fries in the freezer happy now i didnt have to eat them under cooked things, had some last week and had to put them in the oven for 20 minutes to finish cooking the things

It's great but it's a little bit expensive but I usually just get battered sausage and chips but they don't do battered chips though :/

Literally just visited around 9pm, and ordered a fish and chips, we really enjoy this place and my dad always raves about it. However when we got home and opened up the bag there was only the fish in the bag? No chips despite paying for them? I work in customer service myself and understand these things can happen but how can you forget chips in an order that is simply a few items? Too late to go back now as it's a journey to get there and my dad only gets it as a treat on the way home.

Visited tonite after few months since last and the prices are absolutely ridiculous! And the lady serving when putting fish in wrapping held one side of fish with tongues and other with her hand, not acceptable in current times with covid. Wont be visiting again

Had a delivered meal, 1st time using them, absolutely delicious! Proper chip shop tasty chips & they kept the salad separate so it stayed cold & crunchy! Will most definitely use again! Best take out I've ever had!
