Salathip Thai Cuisine in Dudley

Mixed starter disappointing - looked and tasted like Iceland frozen party food. Curries lacked spice and flavour, overly creamy and sweet. Pad Thai greasy and tasteless. Rice mushy but tasted nice.Pretty expensive meal but standard is below Chinese takeaway level. Not sure if caught on bad day because other reviews consistently great.Service was good.

Good food, friendly staff. Relaxing ambiance. Excellent service.

Excellent service, the staff, from the person who answered the phone to the waiting staff were excellent. The food was excellent, very efficient and polite would highly recommend, will definitely return and recommend.

Very slow service explained away by 'the kitchen fall behind when it's busy' and a foreign object found in the food. However two members of staff did apologise and take ownership of our complaint.

No words to describe, excellent atmosphere, great service and fabulous food. Keep it up.

Outstanding service and food absolutely delicious can’t wait to go again

We had one of the set meals for 5, starters were nice and all the main courses were beautiful. Delicious flavours and hot, portions were plenty even for our big eaters! Good selection at the bar, friendly staff and great service!

Having been to this restaurant many times before we were really disappointed by the poor quality of food on our most recent visit. The sharer starter platter was dry as though the items had been cooked for ages and kept warm. The soft shell crab main coarse was really greasy and sauce tasteless. I left most if it and when asked by the staff why I explained and they just oh dear we will tell the chef. My wife had a chilli dish which despite its description was rediculously hot meaning you couldn't taste anything beyond the first mouth full. Not how we remembered it on other visits. Wouldn't recommend.

Lovely restaurant and very friendly. Nice food and service, and very tastefully decorated. Would recommend if you like slightly anglicised Thai food.

Really good food. Excellent service. Great choice. Convenient location within easy walk of the large car park (behind Heron Foods/Co-Op).There are some set menu offers but there is such a wide choice on the standard menu that you won't want to restrict your choice.I noticed that there are a few starters hidden within the mains section and also you can order some of the salads etc. as a starter.
