"Visit the Brierley Hop House in Dudley for good beer and classic British pub grub in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We’re a family-friendly pub just a mere hop skip and jump away from Merry Hill Shopping centre in the heart of the Black Country. If you’re visiting with the whole family, then our kid’s menu is full of food little ones love. And for bigger appetites, our main menu is full of classic pub grub that everyone will want to tuck into. Joining us with a group of friends? Then we’ll get the drinks ready. Our drinks menu is full of everyone’s faves, from cask ales to cocktails. In the warmer months, our beer garden is the perfect place to relax with a drink after work. Keep an eye out for our entertainment evenings and get involved."

I popped in for dinner after work. The food was fantastic, the beer was cold, the feel of the venue was friendly and the staff were all very welcoming. The decor is very music themed and that sits well with me. I really enjoyed my time there and I'll be back with friends.

Myself and my family had an incredible time here over the weekend! Incredible food, wonderful welcoming staff and extreme Knowledgable, helpful management team. They helped us book a birthday party for the coming months, well planned and organised. The function room is a fantastic space with its own bar, perfect for what we need. Would highly recommend coming here any day of the week, whether it’s for food, drinks or functions. A genuinely lovely place to be and a credit to the waterfront.

My daughter had her 30th birthday party 12th February at this venue, room itself lovely, but staff not very friendly drinks were expensive, to hire the room is expensive for the short time the party lasts and you have to be cleaned up and vacate very strict on time keeping. And the bar maid was very rude, took a guests double vodka off the table which was only purchased minutes before, the guest said hang on I haven't finished with that drink, barstaff handed the drink back, having had her fingers in the glass and refused to get my guest another fresh drink and glass.. Very rude and certainly not good customer service.Let's just wrap this review up by saying, it's the first time at this venue but definitely the last!!

Visited here for food after being in Merry Hill on Boxing Day. Staff behind bar were very welcoming and friendly. Made us feel welcome from the off. Nice drinks and great draft lager. Then the food come which was great. Really tasty, nice size portions and all 4 plates were clear by the end. I only really write reviews when a place is really good, or really bad, and this place deserved a good review. Will definitely be back next time we are at merry hill
