Love this place. The staff are absolutely fantastic and the food is lovely. They don't have the same kind of selection as some Cantonese restaurants in China town but every dish they make is very well executed and they really do create a great atmosphere for all of their customers.

Food was freshly prepared but it was let down by the long waiting time thos evening despite the restaurant only being half full.One person serving and taking orders is probably not enough.

In January 2016 a group of 16 enjoyed a first class lunch at the Ruby; the food was delicious, well presented and served by enthusiastic and friendly staff. This is the fifth year we have dined at the Ruby, and as we were delighred with everything this year, we have booked again for 2017. I can recommend the Ruby without hesitation.

The food from this place isn't a patch on the Happy Gathering in Quinton and it's twice as expensive. I ordered a quarter of aromatic duck with pancake wraps and hoi-sin sauce and a portion of chips. The chips were absolutely awful... Tasted like oven chips from Tesco. The pancake wraps were soggy and the sauce tasted cheap. Will not be eating from here again!

Waiting service is dreadful, takes a long time for the food to come out especially if there are more than 3 customers in the restaurant. Also I think the chef is quite rude and once I found a hair in my curry. Also the more you order the smaller the portions get.
