Wall Heath Tavern in Dudley

Please bring back a lunch time menu!! Something like hot meat baguettes or cobs and lite bites are seriously needed to cater for those who don’t want a full meal in the day time. You are missing out on a lot of trade because of this. It used to buzz years back all day long as the menu options were right. Daytime specials used to work really well and the oldies loved it. (Plenty of em in Wall Heath!)The food we have actually had has been very good.New decor good. New staff have been welcoming.

Looking forward to the chef starting towards the end of this month. Nice atmosphere, garden in back, parking. Have eaten twice there now, both meals were very good

Visited yesterday for Sunday Lunch and the 2 starts is NOT a reflection of the food,After making a reservation a week before we walked in to find the table had a reservation note on it along with menus.There was no cutlery or salt and peppers on any tables. We Asked to move as we don’t like eating at high table and sitting on stools.I ordered at the bar and the food came before anything we had to ask for cutlery, This shouldn't happen, I've worked in this industry and in every establishment I have worked in the tables are/should always be laid up for your booking guests,On finishing our meals we waited around 30 mins for our table to be cleared, the pub wasn't busy and all we could hear was laughing and joking coming from the kitchen and to top this a waitress came by and removed the menu's from the table and ignored the empty plates, I had to ask for them to be removed in the endOn reflection the food was delicious, Chef is doing a great job, Please take this criticism on board and work on the basics, This isnt the first time we have been for food and this isnt the first time this has happened, The front of house staff could do better

Visited on Saturday 4th june 22, for the first time since been taken over, decided to have lunch my wife had (jacket potato with cheese and beans ) quantity of fillings was very poor you could count the number of beans and only small amount of cheese ) for the money very poor,Also had chilli to be fare chilli had a kick but amount I had was disappointing for the price they charge, won't be eating there again.

Gema, the bar keep was fantastic company for myself & my partner.She'd worked a whol lot of hours and was covering another shift.We only 'popped in for the 1' and ended staying the whole afternoon, evening, thru to closing.Such a generous hostess and deserves a raise imo.Lovely pub and , from the few patrons we saw , a nice crowd.Can't wait to visit again.Lovely to meet you Gema.

Superb fireworks & laser show... But stewarding needs to be better... Only 1 single gate for everyone to get off field, poor if not no management of this.. Led to people getting frustrated and pushing and shoving which ended up with my 12yr old son having someone be shuved into him and hurt his shoulder so badly he was in tears.Shame because other than that the previously mentioned shows and the food and outside bar & fair rides were great

Great afternoon out for my moms birthday. The staff were very helpful and polite, great selection of ales & Gin and the food was outstanding. Highly recommended ++
