Popped in today for a last minute late lunch and was really impressed. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The food was very good and excellent value with large portions. The mac n cheese and bacon topped chips were so tasty with lots of fresh spring onion and the spicy nduja nachos were delicious and came out without jalapeños as requested. Top service and great value. Thank you to all the staff.

Only reason for not getting a 5 stars was because I went to order a drink from the bar, I have seen this drink on the drink menu, I was then told they don't sell that here. She then said I can give you something else nice il surprise you, OK then. Took the drink to my partner she didn't like it I requested it to be swapped i thought seeing as it was a reccomendation from the bar staff that there would be no issue but she wouldn't swap it. Other than that the food was hot and tasty, staff were friendly. Been coming here since I was a kid not visited recently nice to see the place again.

Me and my family of 13 came to eat at the Anglesey this evening and Laura single handedly served us all. She was absolutely brilliant, so polite, helpful and friendly. The food was also beautiful. 10/10

I went to this pub with my friends to have a traditional Sunday roast. The place was cozy and warm. The food was very good and the service was amazing, the italian waiter was so kind and efficient. Definetly a positive experience!
