I ordered two courses from the set menu including the lasagne. The lasagne arrived and it was dish of sauce very little cheese and no meat. It was not edible. I was told by staff that the lasagne was not prepared on site but delivered. I thought the food would be cooked on site from scratch as it wasn't exactly cheap.I did inform the staff who were good enough to remove it from the bill. How ever when I paid the remainder of the bill for two adults and two children I asked if they accepted blue light cards but was told no as the meals was ordered from the set menu so they could not apply the discount so be aware when ordering.I did order a soft drink which never arrived. The serving staff were how ever very helpful.

Staff friendly and consistent. Quick and efficient service. Food relatively nice, good selection. Only issue was that we were presented with options as if they were included with the meal and then charged extra for them, finding ourselves with a much larger bill than anticipated.

The worst Bella Italia I have been to. Tried twice. Both times the manager complained they were understaffed so could not accept us unless we had booked. The first time we had booked. It made no difference. Both times the restaurant was half empty. You cannot call the restaurant ahead of time. On calling you speak to a robot that mimics a conversation with an actual human. When it gives up and calls the restaurant no one answers. If you are ever in Burton go to Pinocchios. The staff, food and service are excellent!

Went in for lunch today and the experience was quite disappointing. The last time we'd been to the restaurant it was before Covid and we were very happy, so didn't bother looking into the most recent reviews- big mistake.Firstly there were not available items on the menu, which we weren't made aware of and had to "change" our order twice. The food was below average. The staff were not attentive, even though the place was not even half full. They did not come to our table to ask if we were happy with the food, although they did with other tables around us. We were not offered cheese and/or pepper for the pasta dishes we ordered. For me the worst part was the male member of staff, who came to our table and VERY RUDELY said the the kids(5 and 2) to not put their spoons into the glasses because they get scratched 🙄 (needles to say that the glasses were already scratched, but hey ho) - surely there is a better way to speak to your customers! In general it felt very unwelcoming experience. I'm sorry to say that we're not going to return for another meal.

Had a cheeky quick dinner at Bella Italia this dinner time and had a marvellous time. Served by Pagan who I cannot commend enough. Attentive and friendly and accommodating. Thank god she cut me off the cheese!Delicious food so of course had to reserve a table for next time to make sure more people can come!

We were able to sneak a quick late lunch in before grabbing the kids! So had a selection of the starters for a tapas style bite to eat.Staff were very efficient, we were one of 3 tables in the restaurant, and food arrived very quickly. It was tasty and enjoyable. Tables weren't entirely set up as cutlery was missing but the hostess noticed this straight away and brought it over. The wine I chose also wasn't in stock so I was asked to make a different selection. All in all a nice lunch.

Edit.... 31st Oct 21.... I've reduced to a 4 star. Went tonight. Table at 7.30pm. Place was deserted. Only 2 other tables filled as we walked in. Lovely Service straight away. Starters arrived quickly however I didn't enjoy it (which they took off the bill which I didn't ask them to do). Certain items not available on the menu which is understandable due to supply issues which is beyond their control. However, had to wait over half an hour in-between the starter and main course even though the place was empty. They were concentrating more on their just eat orders which I counted 7 drivers coming in and out for deliveries while we were waiting for the main course. The main course was very enjoyable. Also received a voucher via email for a free main course. I love Bella Italia. Been a few times now and I have never had a bad meal. Food is fantastic. Always have calamari as a starter. They have a new menu now and had the meatballs. Meatballs were perfect sized. Small but not to small and plenty of them. Staff are friendly and polite.

Just had a Deliveroo delivered from this place and I can honestly say it’s the most appalling food Ive eating in a lot of years. Pasta is insipid and tasteless, pizzas burned and like eating carpet underlay, garlic flatbread shattered when I put a cutting wheel across it which tells you everything. How this place is still in business serving trash like this is a miracle. Shocking to say the least and would give zero stars if I could. My poor son tried his best to eat the least burned bits of his margarita but the rest went in the bin

Visited Bella Italia in Burton for the first time today, the place was very clean and we were greeted at the door who was very accommodating. We were a group of 7 plus a 2 year old across two seperate tables, the tables were clean and a high chair was given to my Neice. Tap water was given to both of our tables which was nice.Lots of choice the menu but a couple more Vegetarian options would be nice for the pizza / even have a Calzone option too for vegetarians. We could only choose from Margarita and a Fungi Pizza.Everyone tray enjoyed their meals, the children's menu which my Neice had the portions were extremely generous, the pasta i think an adult would be happy with! 3 courses for her for £6 and that includes a refillable drink, very impressed! The dessert part of the meal and waiting for the bill did take a long time, one of the adults wanted to have a dessert but my Neice was given hers way before a menu got to us. Apart from that and the waiting time for the bill it was a nice experience and our server (servers as they changed shift half way through) was very nice!

The interior of the restaurant is cozy, the large space between the tables provides comfort. Marco polo pasta was tasty but dry.I'd love to come back for dessert. Very nice service.
