Landlady was great over the phone and really nice when I arrived, locals were friendly and dog friendly pub, lovely bar lady made me top hot chocolate and strudel, custard and ice-cream beautiful 😋, will definitely return

Went for Sunday lunch 27 th. March 2022. The first thing we noticed was how cold it was inside. We all had a Sunday main course which to be honest was all very bland and the beef and the turkey weren't the best. We noticed it was not busy and considering it was Mother's day it should have been. We soon realised why it wasn't and won't be returning. On a positive note, the waiting on girl was very pleasant .

Had lunch on Wednesday landlady was very welcoming we had a 3 course meal at a very reasonable price which was very nice.Will visit this pub again when we're in that area again loved it

Lovely country pub with pleasant staff. Met up with an old friend there and had a relaxing couple of hours catch up. Will definitely use again.

Stopped in for lunch while driving through today, and had a fantastic homemade meal at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff and atmosphere as well.

Lovely impromptu Sunday lunch, friendly service and excellent food, nice to see a place that brings children's food out cool enough to eat rather than red hot. We can definitely recommend the gammon and children's cottage pie, full of flavour and great portions.
