Fishy in East Staffordshire

We were in Burton shopping and went and sat inside to eat.We had 3 medium fish, chips and peas, 2 soft drinks and a tea.Service was speedy but unobtrusive, food seemed cooked to order, it was piping hot and very tasty.We will definitely call in again when we are in Burton.

Awful food smells moldy in the shop

Absolute little gem! I was totally give up having a proper, medium cooked juicy beef burger till I've found this place. Big portion of fish and hand cut chips. Reasonably priced, staff is nice. Relaxing, simple atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place!

Always a first rate chip shop in Burton, sit down at lunch time us a treat.Haddock and chips is my favourite and this was no exception, lovely light batter, crispy and flaky fish.A slice a bread and cup of tea.Perfect.

Came in today, went to get my money out and another customer was allowed to queue jump me. So after he was served i was told i had to wait another 10- 15 mins for chips. I then decided to leave without being served as i felt you offered poor customer service.

Always used this place every year whilst working at Burton Fair. Tonight at approx 7.15 after waiting 5 minutes was told its only chips or a pie as I'm not cooking anything else I'm waiting to close! That was after another member of staff rudely told the customer in front of me to shut up because he couldn't hear😳 not sure what has happened to this place, but myself and the lads won't be returning in a hurry.

Food is okish could be better. The owner has a bad attitude. He seems to think I’m deaf and unable to hear behind me. “Innocent until proven guilty” is the law of this land is all I have to say. Slander is also a crime.

AVOID! That staff were unbelievably rude to me. I politely pointed out that I asked for a savloy not a battered sausage and the guy completely lost it and said ‘I’m having nothing then’. He must have been having a bad day but there’s no need to react the way he did. I was completely shocked at this treatment. If you don’t fancy trying your luck at being abused I would recommend avoiding this place.

Tommy's is a great little chip shop with a small restaurant seating area. The food is always consistently very nice, but seems on the high end of expensive. I have never had any complaints or issues with the food or service, which is great. However, I just wished they had longer opening hours.

Excellent service and lovely food every time I visit not been for a long time and when we went the owner recognised us such a lovely family run business. All staff are friendly and welcoming highly recommended for takeaway or eat in
