Gurkha Curry Lounge in East Staffordshire

My first visit in July 2021and our first family gathering meal together since lockdown.The food is fabulous, the staff are wonderful and the value for money is exceptional. I don’t live anywhere near Burton on Trent but I sing the praises of this restaurant everywhere I go. If you do decide to try it, you won’t be disappointed. Totally respectful and informative staff, a wonderful experience. Thank you.

A typical Indian/Nepalese Restaurant of a high street. Not so expensive and of within range type. Food, once again tasty, and portions are sufficient. So, if hungry and and looking for a change this Restaurant is as good as any. So enjoy a curry for the night. Coopers square shopping centre Car parking is behind and ample spaces are available.

Brilliant. Went with family Christmas Eve. Staff superb, really good and attentive. Food fabulous, tasty, hot and served very very well. Drinks not too expensive which made a change for a restaurant. Even though restaurant packed everything was very good. 100% recommend.

Can't fault this place! The food was amazing, with a great selection on the menu, and plenty vegetarian options. The service was fantastic, waiters were attentive throughout. The prices are great for the quality of food. Will definitely visit again when back in the area.

Absolutely fantastic. Delicious flavoursome food. Not just you're bog standard Curry's. Exemplary service and also reasonably priced. One of the best Nepalese restaurants I've been too.

First time visit for my Birthday. Had a great evening with my family and friends. The staff are so friendly, helpful and informative. The food was excellent and piping hot on arrival. Prices are very reasonable. We recommend that you book a table to avoid disappointment as it can get very busy. We will definitely go back again and would highly recommend to all. Well worth a visit.

The staff are brilliant, very polite and helpful. The restaurant is nicely decorated light colours. The food came out at a good speed. It was nicely presented and delicious. There is no set deals or offers. 2 course meal and 1 drink for 2 people and popodums was around £50. I definitly recommend.

Oct 2017 - I have never rated a restaurant before but I felt compelled to do so after staying an evening in Burton Upon Trent on a business trip, hopefully one of many as I intend to re-visit this fabulous restaurant.The service was impeccable, the staff were polite from start to finish, and the food was incredible. I have eaten in many good quality Indian restaurants and this one is up there with the best. Try the Everest Beer if you're a lager drinker, not my usual preference, it has a slight sweetness that complemented the food. 5+ ☺Update..Dec 2017 - Visited again, like I said I would when staying in Burton again. Food and service just as good as my last visit. Still 5+ for me.. ☺However I must try something different on the menu next time I visit, difficult when you really enjoy particular dishes eaten before though..
