Hilton at St George's Park Restaurant in East Staffordshire

We were looking forward to staying at the hotel especially because of it's swimming pool.We could not get into the pool in the evening because of adults only (my two teenagers were not allowed).Then we could not book for the next day at the time.In the morning next day by 9am the earlierst slot available was at 2pm. Way too late for us as we were checking out on that day.So keep in mind, this is a sports hotel and may have large sports teams staying. So you may not be able to try some of its beautiful facilities.

Fantastic location and great facilities. I took my kids, who loved having a kick about on the pitches the England team train on. Lovely spa and swimming pool. We left our swimming shorts behind and the staff were kind enough to mail them back. Really impressed! Only slight criticism was the bar meals, which didn't quite match up to the rest of the hotel facilities. Would still recommend.

We had an issue with our room on arrival, however, this was sorted out straight away.The executive lounge is unfortunately still closed, but you get a voucher for food and drinks in the bar. This is not as good as an executive lounge, but still very good (hopefully the executive lounge opens soon - as many other Hilton’s have started to open these again).The hotel was very good: clean and looked great. The room was also very good. The grounds were great (great for a family walk).The pool area was the best in all the UK Hilton’s we have stayed in.The breakfast was very good.All staff we met, were very friendly and professional - especially the manager who helped us with our initial room issues.Based on this stay, I would stay again and recommend this hotel.

Great experience, the service and room were excellent, the mattress was a bit firmer than I would have liked but that's a personal preference thing. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection and plenty to choose from. The ambience was incredible for those big football fans.

Beautiful Hotel set in a scenic location, decorated with England Football Team memorabilia, a bonus for football fans. It was a lovely treat for the kids.Customer service was also excellent. Jayne at the reception was extremely helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Although our stay was only short, the service did not disappoint. The kids also love the swimming pool. Overall, it's a great hotel. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely overnight stay. Must have been our 8th return visit, we love the rural location & airy spacious feel to the hotel. Spent a couple of hours in the Spa, had a treatment each then a swim, only 6 others in the pool area so very relaxing. Hotel was very quiet. Our room had lovely views over the countryside. Nice dinner & normal selection for breakfast.

Lovely experience at this hotel. We did have a miscommunication on arrival and the sofa bed wasn't ready for our children. This was rectified quickly and management we're extremely apologetic. Restaurant staff were really attentive even tho they were busy with a Christmas party booking. Our children were even entertained with a magic trick!! Breakfast was fantastic and the memorabilia around the hotel was really interesting. Will definitely return and a great experience if you are attending a football related event.

Really lovely place, incredibly friendly staff and the facial I had was wonderful. I slept that night so well. I also just loved being around the place where the England team train and relax when they are on international duty. Next year for our anniversary we are hoping to be able to have an overnight stay. Would definitely recommend it

A cut above most other Hilton hotels I've stayed at. The staff were attentive and the facilities first rate. Came here for a family New Year's Eve party, but used the pool and generally had a great stay. Would certainly come again.

Excellent hotel, which surpassed our expectations. The breakfast selection was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The gym is good for a hotel gym (shame we couldn't use the St George's Park gym!) and the pool area is beautiful. Highly recommended overall experience and can't wait to go back!
