Our wedding with Hoar Cross absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Laura (wedding coordinator) was so easy to deal with. She helped us through every decision and made us feel completely at ease in the run up to the day, allowing us to visit numerous times and run through the plan. On the day, Rebecca made sure everything ran smoothly and we could relax and enjoy it all. The ballroom, long bar and gardens were the perfect place for our wedding and the food and drink was great. We couldn't recommend Hoar Cross more highly as our whole wedding experience was brilliant from start to finish.

Amazing experience. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and professional the food including food service was outstanding the rooms were stylish, well maintained as was the spa. The therapist who carried out my treatment (Sarah P) was amazing, so thorough , professional and knowledgeable it was an absolute pleasure and I can't wait to return. My friend and I had a thoroughly relaxing and pampering experience which was just what we wanted. Thank you so much. Worth every single penny.

Probably the best spa in the area. A wide variety of bits to keep you entertained and relaxed during the day. The food is good and homemade; it's not really high end but it is good food nonetheless. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. The only bit I would want is for the rooms to have a bit more modern decor and better bathrooms. Nothing particularly wrong with the rooms, but I think they could be a bit more luxurious.

Hoar cross hall itself is very beautiful with lots of history. That being said our experience wasn’t great.Booking online was quite easy though there was a period of 2-3 days before I got booking confirmation I did call them to confirm in the end which they told me they’d not received payment although my bank said the money had been taken so there was some confusion not sure what went on there. We booked a comfy suite online that looked really naturally well lit and really inviting. What we were given on arrival looked nothing like the pictures only one small window at the end of the suite and really dark decor which made it look very dark and dingy. There was also no temperature control as it was baking hot I dread to think what the rooms are like in summer! The spa itself was very nice lots to do. I enjoyed the facilities in here. What I didn’t enjoy was the when we popped back to the room to relax a couple of times in between spa trips were there were builders drilling most of the day it was very off putting and we weren’t made aware of this on booking or on arrival. £900 to hear loud SDS drills above your room, this is not a relaxing experience. I did let reception know and was hoping for them to move us somewhere else in the hotel but that wasn’t an option & I feel this was a major let down in service. I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again. But would maybe go for the day spa instead.

I’ve been to this spa around 4 times and have loved it every single time. I visit spas on a regular basis and have to say this is definitely my favourite! On this occasion I had an afternoon tea which was absolutely beautiful, there seemed to be some confusion on where this afternoon tea was held and we did have to walk around a bit before finding the correct location, they then unfortunately didn’t have us on record, they accommodated this and we were still able to have our afternoon tea which was also the best I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to return again soon.

It could be 5*. But it's difficult to find. There's no signs from the cross roads in Hoar Cross. When you do find it the spa and hotel are in different places and again not clearly signed. Nor is the entrance to the spa from the car park which is hidden down some steps and a ramp from the disabled car park. The actual spa is very nice and well laid out. The Jacuzzis are sensor or timer operated so don't look stupid like I did trying to find the 'on' switch. When we went it was busy but not too overcrowded. The x-large bathrobes are mega large so be careful what size you order. Finally the food.... absolutely spot on. One of the best dinning out lunches we've every had. Be careful with the water... jugs are free, bottles are ÂŁ3. Overall a pleasant spa day experience with excellent food. I do think ÂŁ198 for 2 people 0830-1730 with lunch and ÂŁ4.50 for coffee is a bit expensive.

Everything was top class! We arrived mid morning and were explained where everything is and how to get ourselves about. I found quality and variety of facilities on offer very good. My favourite was an aromatherapy steam room, the seats there were so relaxing and sleep inducing. I also liked the salt room, however wanted to taste salt in the air, don't know if that's achievable, but somehow that was my expectation. The pools and rooms are fabulous. A special attention needs to be given to snooze rooms, one of which has water beds, wow, so comfortable! I did dinner that people were leaving their towels and dressing gowns on recliners everywhere and making it difficult for others to find a spot to rest. Luch was somethings else, and my friend's birthday was celebrated in a sweet and lovely way, a special touch. I brought my flip flops and was glad of it as otherwise had to pay for slippers. Also, for future reference I am going to bring a salt scrub and more skin care, body lotion, as all that water dries out your skin. A side note: should you fancy a coffee and cake, as I did, that will set you back ÂŁ9, so do it knowingly. I suppose it comes with a territory, for me still a bit steep.Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and have plans to return.

Lovely place to go for a spa day .Food was delicious. Service was good. This time didn’t have any treatments . I wish they had put numbers on which locker were where as not just me but others got confused. Everything was clean. Quite busy. Different pools , hydro therapy pools , jacuzzi’s, relaxation areas , hot and cold showers , coffee shop . It has a large car park. Provided us with dressing gowns and towels. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are provided in showers. Cold water stations around spa to help yourself. Hair dryers provided. The changing room is large but only two that you could get dressed in private . I feel they need a few more as ladies were waiting to use them. It cost £198 for two that’s including lunch but not drinks , unless you ask for a jug of tap water with ice which is free . Latte and flat whites £4.50 each . Thought drinks were a bit expensive.I have been on cheaper spa days but it was good .

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had some amazing treatments and the spa facilities are great. The spa did get a little busy but we managed to use everything we wanted and it did quieten down in the evening and mid afternoon. Our room was amazing. It was my birthday and complimentary Prosecco and mini desserts were provided. Our evening meaning in the ballroom was really nice. The staff could not do enough to help. All so friendly and polite. Some of the best service I’ve received in a long while. We will be back. Thank you!

Lovely location and facilities. Clean, bright and modern. Disappointed by the day spa check-in procedure - no list of facilities included in the pack nor a board in the foyer so we only discovered another pool and area by the gym after our treatments - too late to use. The calling out of treatment clients names through masks was also quite odd and not quite the experience expected at a luxurious spa retreat.
