Horseshoe Inn in East Staffordshire

Friendly pub, nice staff, served quickly and a nice environment. Food is cheap and cheerful but portions were huge and enough for 2 people. Having a lighter menu for evenings might be an idea as the light bites menu stopped at 4pm. I don’t really need 1200cal and 8 potatoes worth of chips in one meal

We were welcomed by a friendly staff. The pub was clean, the food was good and we didn’t have to wait long. I did notice that when we were being given wine glasses the barmaid rejected a couple because they weren’t clean. Thanks for that care and service. We visited because of the facility to park overnight in our Motorhome. Thank you for that, motorhomers appreciate it. It is very likely we will return.

Nice pub..decent food. Didn't have any alcohol to taste if was good but there was steady flow of locals so must be decent drink. Will go there again when over that way.

We booked in for the Mother’s Day 3 course meal and what can we say, “it was amazing”, especially the apple and whisky tart.All the staff were very friendly and we couldn’t ask for anything more.A lovely place a bit far out but completely worth it, well done to the team, totally 5 stars.We are looking forward to the new menu and we will definitely be back.

First time visiting here and it was such a lovely welcoming atmosphere! Staff were so kind and the quiz night was an absolute laugh. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area! Definitely recommend a visit.P.S. Very animal friendly!

I really enjoy the warm welcome you get from all of the staff in this pub. It feels like you are visiting a friends house whenever you walk through the doors. Coupled with that, it is a dog friendly pub, which let’s us enjoy a nice walk with the dog and a meal and a glass or two in a lovely environment.

Tradional style pub. Food was good and it was quite busy. Children and dogs welcome. Update: Cosy and warm on a cold evening, Food waiting time not long and good choice. We felt very welcome and were served politely and friendly. Recommended.

Fantastic service we had very unusual requests of boxing up and taking away some of our meals for family members isolating at home. The staff were very helpful and took this in their stride. Food was fantastic and so was the service despite the pub being very busy. Well done Horseshoe.

Wonderful location, fabulous service and mouth-watering food! Stopped off for Sunday lunch with the other half and was blown away by the quality of food and service - 100% recommend!

We really enjoyed our visit here. It was a nice afternoon and my boy enjoyed playing on the play equipment. The outside area is dog friendly. We had a two burgers and a club sandwich to eat which were really nicely cooked with lots of flavour, much better quality than other nearby places with the same menus. Nice atmosphere and good to see and chat with the new owners! We saw there was a live band playing that weekend. Well worth a visit and a bite to eat.
