Mcdonald's Restaurants in East Staffordshire

Dropped in via the drive-thru for breakfast as we drove home after a week away. Although only 07.30 it was busy and the queue was pretty long. It's not the biggest McDonald's and would probably benefit from moving to a more accessible location. Staff taking and giving out the orders weren't that enthusiastic but the food was hot.

Great staff and food but probably the worst spot possible for this kind of restaurant. One pickup on the carpark (Breakdown truck) and the place grinds to a halt. A huge queue overflowing to the adjacent fuel station and those ignorant delivery erks were taking up all of the disabled bays just to make it worse.

Hmm McDonald's Love the coffee, waiting watching food pile up with people waiting, to see server's one lick fingers to grab the paper bag then pick your food, Hmm from mouth to bag to food wrapping that customers are going to unwrap and eat, food hygiene!! not only that another server rubbing there nose on 2 occasions with palm of hand bagging food, Food safety comes into question, I've worked in kitchen's and had food hygiene inspections if that would have taken place that would call into question staff food knowledge in hygiene and hygiene score reduced? Needs addressing!!!

Very slow service seems all the staff are busy with the drive through, we do use this site often and seem to be the normal thing, not sure if understaffed or poorly managed, fries always tend to be just warm unless your lucky and just get fresh cooked ones, burgers and stuff are OK just the fries part, have taken them back to the counter a few times to get them changed, but usually a long wait for someone to serve you etc, then not always any better, most staff are friendly and polite but a few of the white shirt leaders are a bit none professional in ways. A positive note does seem very good cleaning of tables, etc. Star wise would say 2.5 would be an honest and fair rating for Tot Hill branch. Food is normal for McDonald's apart from cold fries most of the time and a slow service.

Standard McD's really, you know what you're going to get, cleaned well, toilets always very small, nice decor. Consistency of food. Tried the plant burger, wasn't horrible but not a fan.

I use this McDonald's quite a lot for breakfast and it's normally great but last Friday I had an odd experience. As I was getting up to leave one of the staff offered to sort my tray for me which was great BUT then she proceed to put all of it in the general waste, cup plastic and all, I was surprised and pretty disappointed and I walked out thinking why bother at all if the staff can't be bothered.

Wasn’t gonna stop but glad I did. Good maccies experience today.Staff were friendly and competent, drive thru queue was long but moved fairly quickly. Food was very good. Got napkins without having to ask and the receipt in the bag.Small car park but seems to be enough.Right next to the Esso garage. Not suitable pit stop for cars towing things.

Very busy little McDonald's. Toilets were messy as most MCDs loos are in my experience. Lack of soap in the loo dispensers.Used the table service option took a little while to come but was otherwise good. My big mac was cold but on the plus side the chips were hot. No mcflurrys available at all which was disappointing.Nice little touches of free wireless phone charging and tablets for the kids to play with tho I feel antibacterial wipes should be available for the tablets in line with pandemic hygiene. As it is we used a napkin and hand gel .Not the best or cleanest McDonald's but on par with most of the chain and in a good location for passing motorists on their travels

Decent Mcdonalds. Touch screen service. Food was as expected. On the plus side - plenty of phone chargers. On the negative side - parking!!! Crazy busy on a Friday evening. Not enough parking spaces. Close proximity to Alton Towers adds to manic-ness. Cars queuing for drive thru allway round from main road

The lit-up sign says 24hrs but it closes at 11. A bit annoying when you stop for a bite when it’s late.Ended up stopping again on a separate journey in the daytime. McDonald’s food is pretty much the same everywhere. The staff were genuinely so lovely though. Amazing lady named Ruth (whatever she’s getting paid, it’s definitely not enough) going out of her way to welcome & help people and just being super friendly.
