Nice and comfortable, shame the pub is no longer viable, it was great chatting with Danny the owner, great breakfast.

Fabulous B&B clean, tidy and a great breakfast.Danny and Henrietta are very hospitable, professional and helpful we would definitely come back.And if you want a quick game of table tennis before leaving Danny is happy to participate. Thanks for a great stay!! Andy and Christine.

Fantastic food and a warm welcome. We've stayed here several times and it's reliably one of my favourite places.

Just had a take away from here, Scampi and home made chips and Salmon with home grown vegetables. Brought it all hone it was still piping hot. We tucked into the meals and it was absolutely delicious, very large portions so fantastic value for money. We had had desert with it and they were to die for, just make sure you order ice cream or whipped with it too. Will certainly be going back again.

Excellent customer service at the Rose & Crown and a good menu selection. We both had fish and chips which were excellent, the batter was light and crispy and the chips were very tasty. I was even able to have a small plate serving which was just enough for me and left room for some tasty Eton Mess

Delicious food and wonderful hosts!We had the place to ourselves for a 60th birthday lunch. There were 39 of us eating and drinking. Danny and Henrietta were fab from the start of the booking process to us leaving after a delicious meal with lovely service.Thank you for making our afternoon so lovely and hassle free!

Really lovely atmosphere. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food was beautifully presented and tasty. The menu seemed to cater for most people although they didnt have a childrens menu but did offer suggestions which went down well.

An impromptu pop in to the The Rose & Crown and what a great decision.From the moment we walked in the staff were fantastic, pleasant and accommodating.The food was very very tasty and the Jaynes brandy snap dessert was wonderful and all reasonably priced.We would highly recommend The Rose & Crown

Fantastic food and friendly atmosphere.Visited from London and have had several lovely meals in this local pub. Good range in the menu and decent portion sizes. Has a lovely feel to it and a patio that catches the sun outside for drinks. Keep up the great work!

Very friendly staff. Nice environment, very clean and modern. Food was great. We didn't intend having a 3 course meal but the menu appealed. We both had pate to start and both were very good. The mackerel was very strong and exactly what it should be. The mains were both well presented and well cooked. Not overwhelming. Belgian chocolate bread and butter pudding was the star! Really good. Good wine selection too. Only criticism would be dissapointing beer selection. Only Hoegarden or Pedigree. Just need to have a word with local microbreweries and stock a few, even if it comes out of a bottle! We will be returning though! Looking forward to Sunday lunch... I bet it's good!
