Stopped here whilst travelling. Beautiful breakfast and a great coffee.

Very unasuming quirky cafe with very good food & service. Brie, bacon & cranberry ciabatta was one of the best I've had, would definitely recommend, good coffee too

As always great service, lovely environment, fabulous staff, cakes to die for and value all round.

·

Lovely little café. The team are extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating and the food is delicious and an added benefit that its sourced from local suppliers. There is a huge selection of delicious fresh homemade cakes too which I am slowly making my way through.A perfect little 'working from home' spot when you fancy a change of scenery and want to support a local business.

Loved it! Superb breakfast options. Delightful and friendly service. Much better inside than the exterior appearance of the business.

Ok this looks like a nice place to eat but menu a bit limited. The place lacked personality and felt a bit cold. I would have thought it could use local history to give that homely feel. The theme could be any number of things related to the village, local heroes, historical events , etc, etc. The food was ok but not earth shattering not sure we would revisit in near future. This place has real potential suggest you capitalise on it while you can.

Lovely coffee shop, delicious coffee and cake. Only negative is that they forgot my brother's breakfast and he had work to get to so ended up having to wolf it down in 5 mins and rush to get to work. Totally understand these things happen, overall, lovely visit, will be back!

A Wonderful Discovery! So, we didn't pre-book for the National Memorial Arboretum... onto Plan B and a mooch around Barton-under-Needwood. As we love cats and quirky, stylish interiors, just the name piqued our curiosity!Greeted with a very warm welcome (in COVID-19 specification PPE) we chose a table in The Snug. The Skinny Kitten Cafe offers a menu with a wide and choice, including vegetarian and vegan options. Our food was served in style and tasted as good as it looked.Have I mentioned the in-house baked cakes? The selection is truly tempting, with the final choice being the only difficult decision. I can definitely recommend the chocolate covered flapjack - the perfect treat with a cup of tea!Whether you are local or passing through, the Skinny Kitten Cafe is highly recommended. I think a minor diversion might be needed on our next road trip... see you soon!

Quirky, cosy cafe. Stylish and comfortable inside. Food was good, staff very friendly. Just FYI if you’re looking for a working spot; WiFi signal is a bit intermittent around the back, and you’re not allowed to plug laptops in.
