The Beacon Hotel in East Staffordshire

Five of us went for a birthday meal, the food was excellent and plentiful, there was two people waiting on the tables, serving food and drinks, inside and out, they were rushed of there feet, other than that all was perfect

Lovely food, lovely staff , could not fault anything on our 2 recent visits.

Popped in tonight quickly for something to eat after being recommended by a friend. Food was really good and so was the pud pud! Credit to the staff too as they were really pleasant, Thank you will 100% be back again.

Booked in for Sunday dinner at 17:00.We were surveyed to very quickly and in a friendly convivial manner. Drinks came really quickly.Went up for our carvery and was served by a very positive and helpful carver.Meal was lovely and went down well for all of us. Combinations of Beef, lovely and succulent, Gammon, same again. Turkey, tasty but a little dry, probably after being under the heated lights for a while.Only other issues was, it would have been great to have a few more vegetables to choose from, such as Broccoli, sprouts etc.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were attended to very well.Will be coming again.

Went to a friends engagement party at the Beacon, nice large pub will great outdoor space. The buffet was put on by the beacon and probably the best buffet food I've had.

Nice place to having a steak, friends meet up. Good design, food is much better under current management than previously. Just had a snack plate, coke. Excellent. Nice and polite staff. Appreciate the serving style.

Went for Sunday lunch 8th May. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Meal was fantastic and the beef tasted like beef. Highly recommended.

Went for a meal for my mother's birthday today and cannot praise this place highly enough. The quality of the food was fantastic, price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. We were served by 2 of the best waiting staff I have ever encountered, both were friendly, professional and willing to go above and beyond to assist in any way they could. When we asked about dairy free children's options due to an allergy we were told unfortunately the meal we wanted was not dairy free, however the chef would specially prepare a dairy free batch for us. Recently visited for a carvery with the family. Food was really nice, the staff were very helpful and friendly especially 'Nathan' who went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. Definitely recommend!

Really nice inside, food was tasty but was a little lacking in portions, ordered a pork belly with mash and veg, massive pile of mash, hardly any veg. The wife also ordered a veg tart which was freezing in the middle. Food was replaced and removed from final bill
