Excellent for dining. Right by the canal. Between us we had burger, steak, Bolognese and veggy Wellington all we're really good and at a reasonable price too. The menu is heavily Italian based. Saw pizzas coming out and they looked fab. Thoroughly recommend. There's covered outdoor seating that wasn't in use when we were there but looked to have heating too.

A fantastic find. The service is exceptional and the food, from an extensive menu, is great. The kids loved the pasta, pizza and meatballs, whilst we loved the Monkfish chowder. Very busy, so book in advance

Luckily i test drive places before I take my Italian mamma out, otherwise we would have ended up being shouted at by an angry Italian lady in her 60s, over the quality and “origins” of the “Italian” food served at that place…It’s a Very pleasant place with great service. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great.

Great place with really good quality food and drinks. I've been there a couple times and enjoyed each visit very much. The staff is friendly and explains food in details, also offers extra things like parmezan on top of pasta. Quick service and nice atmosphere. Altogether it makes a great experience!

Just lovely once again. We were a little nervous as dining with a 10 year old with severe tree nut allergy. Completely attentive and reassuring. Excellent meal. Sea bass was first class.

Could only give them a 5 star. I am Portuguese and I haven't eaten such good Italian food near where I live in the uk (Sutton Coldfield). Loved the starter and the rest of the food. Well done, will come back surely :) Staff fantastic, price reasonable too.

+ The foods great. Big portions ; you won't go home hungry. Friendly service too. Lamb shank was delicious.- Bit odd having to go outside to the toilet, not sure I'd fancy that in the middle of winter !

Old style pub, with lovely Italian style food.Nice outdoor eating area under a large marquee in a garden setting by the canal.Peaceful location handily located off the A38 at Branston.Walking distance to and from the water park. Car parking on site.Good service, good wines, and fair prices.Going again soon ! Cheers.

Cracking little restaurant, an easy walk from Burton, up the canal path. The food was really nice- I had the pepperoni pizza and a few drinks. Finished with a chocolate pudding with ice cream. The staff were friendly and attentive and with the weather being hot, it made the whole thing great. Definitely come back here, you can’t beat good food.
