We would like to thank the staff for saving the day when we had been stuck in traffic for one and a half hours on our way to uttoxeter races .44 very thirsty and fed up men stopped and asked if we could come in for half hour to quench our thirst .we were made very welcome and enjoyed various delicious beers,lagers and ciders .once again thank you.

Lovely pub and amazing food. We've had the takeaway many times before so decided to try eating in and wasn't disappointed. Could easily become my new local go to 😊

The food is very good here, I will say you do need a healthy appetite as the portions are very adequate, the staff are very attentive and friendly , my family and I eat here quiet regular always worth the travel

Friendly warm atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices. Service can be a bit slow. Plenty of parking.I eat there fairly often.

Just had Sunday lunch here. Food brilliant, service great. Would highly recommend great value. As Arnie would say “I’ll be back “

Had a lunchtime meal with twelve guys from my car club. The meal was pre-ordered and was efficiently served by the helpful staff. The food was good and the surroundings were very pleasant. A good time was had by all.

Food was great, cocktails were lovely. Staff were friendly, funny, quick and helpful. Only issue we had was it was one of the hottest days and there were no fans or air con. We managed to stay to finish our meals but had to leave because it was uncomfortably hot. Will go there again when it's cooler though.

Stopped here for lunch off the cuff as we were nearby and I am so pleased that we did!!Such an amazing find and the food was phenomenal!! The starter calamari was delicious and the batter was so light, mains I had the ham and eggs whilst hubby had the Mixed Grill and we had desert to take away! Amazing and polite staff, and hats off to the chef for such amazing quality food! Would definitely recommend 👌 only managed to get a photo of my ham and eggs once I started eating as I always forget 🙂
