Met with friends here for dinner midweek, first time we had visited. We all had one of the kebabs, which were really tasty! Other food going to other tables looked good too. Friendly staff, lovely little pub. Great find, would come back again.

Excellent food - can highly recommend. Staff were so nice, attentive and welcoming. Take a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Nice staff, especially the older lady. Went for Sunday lunch with family, 7 of us.We all had roast beef, was nothing to shout about. Rock hard Yorkshire puddings, with about a teaspoon of gravy. Was cold when served to the table. There was a party of about 10 adults on the table behind us,they were extremely loud and had no respect for other diners whatsoever, it was like being at a football match. My granddaughter who is 8 and my grandson who is 3 ended up taking their dinners outside to eat for a bit of peace.None of us enjoyed our experience at the jinnie and will not be returning anytime soon.In the past i have dined there and it was lovely back in the day.I wish that I had saved our well earnt money.

What a lovely find! The hand cut chips were to die for, and the cheese board OMG!Service was really attentive at a busy time too.The restrooms are impeccable - Will definitely come again

Been here before and again proved to be excellent. Ordered our beef Sunday lunch but unfortunately after about half an hour the waitress returned and explained the an error had been made on the cooking time for the beef it would not be ready on time for us. Luckily for us all they gave us a chicken lunch free of charge customer satisfaction at the Jinnie for sure will continue to use whenever possible.

Staff very welcoming. Food tasty and highly recommend for those looking for a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Compensated for having to move tables too! Lovely gesture.

·

Very poor quality Sunday lunch. Cold, powdery mashed potato, soggy vegetables and it took over 40 minutes. The waiting staff were pleasant and apologetic. Last time we came a month or so ago the Sunday lunch was outstanding, so much so we brought friends this time and were left extremely embarrassed.

Dogs allowed so a great start. Very warm welcome from the staff and also some of the locals. Food was great and the chips were amazing. The specials sounded amazing but we chose off the menu. We felt like we stepped into someone’s home, lovely. Will be coming back.

Building was lovely, staff were welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately the food was a massive let down. My wife ordered some pasta off the specials board, the pasta was undercooked, dry and bland. I ordered a steak which came over cooked, it might be petty but it came with peas which it doesn't say on the menu and I really hate peas and would have asked for without had I known. Was supposed to come with garlic butter mushrooms, came with 5 tiny bits of mushroom. Peppercorn sauce was watery. The only good thing was the chips. I'll give them their due, they took my wife's meal off the bill and I have no bad word to say about any of the staff. We went because the reviews were really good and we may have just been unlucky but we won't be going back. Much better other places near by.
