Absolutely delicious and well worth it. We had the Sunday lunch menu 2 course £18.95. Will definitely be going again and well recommend. Could not fault one thing and I'm a fussy eater 🙂 x

We decided to pop in for lunch, has we had been before and menu was really good. But this time had changed menu and it was very poor. So we finished drinks and decided to leave. Very disappointing.

A beautiful pub in a beautiful village. The staff here really go the extra mile and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the haddock chowder and red lentil dahl. Definitely coming back!

Ok the venue was nice with a log fire. This gave a homely rustic feel to the pub.It was bright and the quirky mix of mis matched furniture added character. The men's toilets clean and fresh, staff polite and friendly. We had fish and chips with mushy peas plus drinks. We thought the portions were small and the chips a little over done. I know it was mini but for the price not sure it was value for money. The food was ok aside from the pizza was a bit dry but crumble was different but nice. On the whole venue was nice but food maybe needs stepping up a bit. Might re visit in the future but not sure.

Really lovely venue. Excellent food at very reasonable prices and friendly, attentive staff. This was our 3rd visit as a group of friends and it certainly won't be our last.

Visited here for a family lunch, the pub itself was lovely, however the menu was quite limited. The service could be improved and food was underwhelming. One of the meals was forgotten, but this item was taken off the bill. Staff were friendly but overall the lunch took almost three hours, from ordering to paying, even though the pub was practically empty. This pub has great potential, if the above could be improved.

Really lovely sunday lunch and my 3 grandchildren were more than happy with their huge battered fish fingers. Staff were happy and courteous. However I was disappointed to see that there were only 2 other tables of diners at peak time. I thoroughly recommend this pub and hope that they have a good Christmas

Was really nice food and ale. Initially we had a problem with slow service but quite unsolicited the staff realised and offered us free drinks or desserts. Any establishment can make a mistake, it's what you do about it that matters and they were excellent. Will return the next time we're in the area

Lovely family environment, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. No sheltered area outside. Nice for a quick nibble and pint. Home cooked scratchings with apple puree was delicious.

Lovely old pub and very friendly bar staff. The pizzas are amazing, we had the Steakhouse pizza which had big pieces of steak on, served very hot and tasted wonderful. The pub is very clean and tidy and all covid rules are in place and a very safe environment. We will definitely be back.
