Nice place with good service and staff. Shared car park was strange and having to log your reg no on arrival and every 3hrs but staff are very helpful with this. Food very good

Right, the number one thing i have to say about this place, is when i ate here for breakfast and tea a couple of times while staying for when i was staying in the premier inn, (which is literally in the building that The Water Bridge is in, and another building across the car park, (but i was staying in premier inn to go to Alton Towers Resort)) that the staff were so so polite, and when the one single time they messed one thing up, they apologised and fixed the problem, and that is one of the best things they can do, they are also very polite in speech, so i did the same, i was polite to them, and there's just something about those staff that made me smile, since they are very nice people and i couldn't have gotten any better service from them. Now onto the food, which was actually, as expected, very nice and would have again at any time if i could choose, so this place had no problems and if there were any i must be so blind that even glasses made in 2000+ years from now wouldn't make me see any problems with this place. I would definitely advise people to come here!

Unfortunately the gammon steak was so rare, it almost looked uncooked. I can only guess that the chefs were in a rush to close the kitchen and didn't really care how the food was cooked. With the menu, you also get an A4 sheet of paper listing food / drinks that are unavailable. So whilst you're looking at what you'd like to eat, you'll also need to check that piece of paper to make sure what you want to eat is not listed as unavailable. They only got stars from me because of the staff as they were very polite and friendly.

Called on the way home from Manchester. Opted for the carvery option. The beef was cooked beautifully and was very lean. Several choices of vegetables including a lovely root mash. Would recommend to family a friends to visit when tracking in this direction.

Very nice food. Staff were lovely. Not the cheapest for a place like this but still worth every penny.

Went for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning as we had other things planned in the area. The races were in so many were in the hotel adjoining to go there. Went at 10am and the cleaner was there still hoovering up 😂 felt sorry for him tbh as we were told to go in the area he was just finishing off. Carpets looked tired and stained, and so did the built in seat area. Needed a good clean or referb really. Just some helpful criticism there as we enjoyed the food and the staff were lovely and a young girl helpful when I asked for milk in the drinks machine. It's a self serve breakfast which we did find helpful as one in our party is gluten free so he was able to choose without the embarrassment of always asking for different.Parking was easy and make sure you pop your reg in the touch screen upon entering as its a monitored area.

Nice place, good food. A 35 person group of us went in for dinner all roughly around the same time & they didnt get overwhelmed like other places!

It took too long to be served, so we didn't get our food until after an hour of being sat down, they forgot our starters, didn't get a chance to get another drink until after our meal and deserts were missing items. Bit of a shame as the food was good and thankfully the staff took the cost of starters off.

Went for breakfast on Sunday the 30th of January 2022. Got given the choice of the little scraps left over in dishes, plates were dirty so had to ask for clean ones, no coffee cups so needed to ask for them. Definitely not what I had expected.

This place is not even worthy of 1 star. I ordered a pint of Doom bar. As soon as it turned up it was clearly not right. It smelled like vomit and tasted disgusting. It was quickly changed for another one that was just the same. Then we went to get our roast. Please look at the photographs. The inside of the roast potatoes is brown the outside was dry and shrivlled and tasted as bad as the beer. That also went straight back. I started to ask how they could serve up food and beer not fit for pigs. I was told they had just changed the barrel on the beer . That makes it even worse why was the beer not checked. by someone who knows what they are doing?? . I then mentioned that the place was empty and I should have been warned by that. Only to be told they are normaly very busy. Taking into account this is Sunday the very day they should be geared up to serve a Sunday Roast. I was told that the Potatos had been taken back by the so called Chef a blatant lie. I could see them still sat looking very sad and other people about to put them on there plate. Worst Pub food I have had for a long time.
