We arrived and was told they were fully booked so left but we could book online for 20 mins later? When we arrived he said that it shouldn’t have been accepted but it was.We have been here for two hours now and the place is empty, they’re not at all fully booked.Food was okay but the meat was so so dry and the staff don’t acknowledge you at all.I was waiting to ask for my bill for 30 minutes after they’d collected our plates and no one came to ask if we were ready.

This place is great value for money, there's no doubt!! You can fill ya boots with unlimited breakfast and tea/coffee for £7.98 - bargain!! 😃

The server was Laura (best customer service I encounter after a very long time) and the carver was Dan. To be fair all the staff were great I cant fault them.All the staff are very welcoming for Families...I dine out quite a lot with family and clients, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my clients for food....

Breakfastis good but not great different chef different how long they cook stuff forLunch / dinnerCarvery that I had vary from the chef who cuts the meat, one chef gives you big pieces the other chef gives you small pieces not a set amount each time.DessertLooked homemade but very cheap taste but expensive for what it is

Today was the 3rd time I have been in and the 3rd time I've been turned away Because they said they was fully booked. You wasn't even half full on any of the occasions. I stood and counted there was 17 tables empty with no one queuing to wait to come in. We sat in the car fir half an hour wondering weather to try again and sure enough walked back in at 1630 and the tables was still empty. There was only 2 of us. If the staff spent less time chatting and more time cleaning the dirty tables then you wouldn't have to keep turning customers away. I will never come here again. Didn't even look for a spare table. Lazy and shabby.

My wife telephoned up to book a table for today and the lady on the phone said "we're not very busy today, come over for 3PM". Myself and family driven 30 minutes to go for Sunday lunch and when we got there was told there was no availability. There was plenty of empty tables!!! I asked for the manager to make a complaint and Beth the duty manager came along, she was very rude and very helpful. Because we couldn't remember the name of the lady we booked with our booking was no longer available! Absolutely dreadful customer service, AVIOD this establishment!!! Won't ever visit this place again

We booked an online table for 6. When we arrived we had to que to get inside. We were directed to our table, which was next to the door to the toilet. When we approached one of the waitresses and asked to change the table we were told that there was nothing they could do as the computer system was responsible for choosing a table?!There were plenty of other tables available in the restaurant. However, we couldn't swap. Staff were not interested at all. According to them seating literally next to the entrance to the toilet with a slamming door every time someone entered is just the experience you dream off. I was under impression customers are just numbers staff happy for them to leave as soon as.

Didn't catch them at their best this time around. It was a while since I had visited. Service was generally slow with many customers standing around. Staff were trying their best but seemed too stretched didn't think there were enough to go around. Carvery OK, puddings brilliant. Hopefully will be better next time.

I had a lovely meal here for my partner's 20th birthday. The food was delicious as always, and always fills you up. The waitress, Katie, was absolutely amazing. She delivered excellent service and made us feel very welcome. Keep up the fantastic work :)

Wow! Food was amazing.We came along with sense service users, our server was fantastic she was really patient and really helpful. I can't remember her name but she was a older lady with short blonde hair. We gave a her a tip which I don't tend to normally do. Her help was truly appreciated.With covid 19 we understood there would be some restrictions but whilst in the queue no one adhered to the 2m distance, I understood the cooks we're to dish up what you asked for but to additionally have a server take your food to your table was unnecessary, to me that's more hands touching plates/food/breathing over food and risking the spread. I think giving us that choice to take it ourselves would be the better option. I'm hoping now restrictions have eased this won't longer be the case and they can re-evaluate. Isn't a bad thing it's just an observation.Overall I was very happy with the food/seating arrangements and the exceptional service. Hope to be back in the future. Thank you
