Uttoxeter Subway in East Staffordshire

Breakfast finishes at 11am. At 10:40 I was told they have no breakfast items left. Although they have "afternoon bacon and afternoon sausages" Infront of me, I was told they were not for breakfast. I asked for a breakfast alternative and was told no. They then changed the breakfast signs to normal food at 10:45. Rude humans.

Visited for breakfast due to the handy location near Alton Towers. The food was good and the items that I wanted were in stock.The member of staff was friendly and helpful when serving.

Nice place to make a brake on the long journey. All was fresh.

Terrible customer service. Food came right off of a truck and he claimed he couldn’t take 3 minutes to make my sandwich, so he told me I had to wait for 15 minutes, which is fine, but he had quite the attitude. He also claimed to be the manager, but seemed a bit hesitant when I asked.

First time experiencing a Subway - never ever again, utterly disappointing. If only the sandwiches looked like the photos.

Was going to have a subway and it was supposed to open at 09:00am and every time I visited it opened at least 30-40 minutes late which is unacceptable

I arranged all my families dinner, me and my partner wanted a Chinese and the kids decided on subway sandwiches, they all have the footlong meals with the drink and crisps and usually a cookie to go with it. So I order the Chinese to be picked up at eight o clock and I left my house just before half past seven which gave me time to drive the two miles to the subway, go in and sort the subway out for the kids and be in time to pick up the Chinese at eight o clock. I got to the garage at 7:35 pm on Friday night, there were a few people hanging around the subway area and one person even walked off in disgust, ranting to himself about it being closed early again, sure enough when I looked over, the counter was all closed up, the bread fridge emptied and everything was tidied away, no sign of anyone, I thought maybe he's in the back and will bring the stuff out to make the sandwiches and just wanted to be cleaned up on time so I emt over to the fuel counter to ask, I was stoof behind a lady who was looking impatient. We stood there for a few minutes and I asked if she'd seen a member of staff in the place and she said no, a large group of people started to form behind us (most holding sandwiches sold at the garage) after anothwr five minutes waiting a man started shouting out "helloooooo is anybody in here!" at which point a lady appeared chewing on some food and rudely says "oh I didn't realise so many people were here" which I thought if there was even one person here shouldn't you have your backside at that counter, by this time it's ten to eight. I get tot he counter and say to the lady that the subway is closed up and she said "yes he's packed up and gone" I inform her that it'd supposed to be open till 8 o clock and why has he gone home, she shrugged and said he does that sometimes. I left the place annoyed, I had to ring my partner and try and sort out what the kids wanted instead which turned into a big row as they couldn't decide on one place and the youngest was very upset that she'd been promised a subway and wasn't getting it anymore, they ended up getting burger kimg which was rubbish and overpriced and our Chinese was cold by the time I got it home. Very disappointed.

Nice good food. The staff are nice.

Yeah a foot long BLT, just the thing for me today. Convenient for truckers and all alike, off A50 between Derby and Stoke and the site also has Gregs, Premier inn hotel, Starbucks and Burger King too!

Food was the usual subway offering but the service stood out. Rarely have I been served by such warm friendly staff, who went out of there way to make you feel welcome. If only all fast food outlets could be like this.
