Fantastic traditional fish and chips

Family owned chippy for as long as I can remember. Best chips in town, probably best in Herefordshire. Delicious 😋

We've been going there for 30 years. I could use words like brilliant, wonderful, fantastic, etc but really their fish and chips are just perfect! Great service, food really hot and crisp. Absolutely Perfect. If you do visit buy one of their 50th Anniversary bags and support a local hospice. 👍👍👍👍👍

My dad has used this place for over 20 years and I must say I saw why food so fresh staff were so lovely they knew my dad well and I didn't even need to ask for his they knew straight away what he wanted great place

Went on Thursday 8-7-21.Worst fish and chips I've ever had in my life.Fish was small and soft.Sausage was limp and soggy.Chips were awful, barely cooked and stuck together.Not sure how they got all these good reviews? Big family?Edit: thanks for your reply but it had nothing to do with vinegar as I don't have it because it makes the chips soggy, I have salt which dries it out.It was simply disgusting and no amount of your technical advice will change that.If we are exchanging technical advice how about you cook your chips at a temp that makes them crispy instead of a boiled greasy mess?Awful, awful, awful... Also you gave my mum indigestionNever again but thanks for your bs.

An old family favourite Fish n Chippie and in our opinion - the only worthy in the Ross on Wye area for our bellys - Audrey and Sharon are so friendly and welcoming - if you're tempted for a fish n chip supper and you're in the area, this is the place to go.
