I had a really good time in a clean comfortable hotel and able to use wheelchair throughout. There was a large step into the shower, manageable but not what was advertised. The meal times became a joke. Trying to guess when the waiter had the order right or not He never managed to get a meal ordered correctly. The food was good .

Beautiful setting ,lovely walks locally and round the grounds.Rooms were clean and spacious Entertainment was really good all staff were helpful friendly nothing was to much trouble .The Best member of staff by a country mile was LISA JANE from the welcoming team she was about from just after ten in the morning working constantly through to closing time helping bar staff when necessary and any where else that needed help.A HIGHLY VALUABLE MEMBER OF THE WARNER TEAM. The only small problem was the food was a bit repetitive with not much choice,But due to circumstances and covid etc it is understandable. Will definitely go back.

Lovely historic house and grounds.Comfortable and well equipped room.A few sports sites need rectifying, ie bowls and boules pit.Food boring and not always up to standard, had to complain, which then seemed to improve. Thank you.

The building and grounds were amazing. It was fascinating to observe at close quarters the finished craftsmanship that was carried out to produce the wooden carvings in the grand Hall and on the main staircase within such an opulent building. The details within the carvings that adorned the grand Hall were stunning. Equally, as stunning was the dust that coated those bits of antique art ! Oh, for the want of a feather duster. We, my wife and I, spent 5 nights there. We found the entertainment at night, OK. The games during the day, such as shooting and archery, to be good fun and the location as interesting as the building. It must be said that we were first-time Warner people who had seen the advert on the TV. As such, I did not think about disabled people at the location. That being the case. It was good to see that there was adequate room for mobility scooters, etc, to get about thought the building without it being too much of an issue. All in all, the buildings, the gardens, the rooms within, and the location were all worth the visit and may well deserve a second visit from us in the future.

Perfect holiday. Lucky with the weather so were able to take in the incredible grounds. One of the better Warners for gardens in our experience. Lovely swimming pool. Looked after very well by the staff in the dining area and while lounging. Not our first stay and the friends we were with was their 1st Warners experience and loved it. Felt the singing by the staff wasn't the best but they work hard and do their best to entertain us. Thank you

Beautiful House, grounds, food, & accommodation. The Take That tribute were excellent, as were the resident entertainment & Band. Did the Cocktail Making indoors which is highly recommended, as Jack, I believe he was called, was excellent. Pity you can't book the weather, as Rain understandably/unfortunately Stopped Play to our Archery & Shooting outdoors.

I’ve never taken the time to write a review until now, after visiting Warners Holme Lacy house. From arriving at the hotel the welcome provided by the reception was non existent. Our door key didn’t work! After going up and down to reception to get the key re-coded still not working! Then being advised to go back to the room , wait outside in the corridor for maintenance to arrive. I didn’t by the way… I’d lost my patience by then, as we’d received no apology for the inconvenience. Furthermore, the dinner that evening was burnt. Gluten free cheeseboard comes without biscuits! What, don’t gluten free biscuits exsist? The jam sachet at breakfast was already opened at our table, with left over butter in it. And to cap it all Saturday night at 6pm there was no hot water available for a shower….! Don’t go, it’s not worth it….

Disappointing throughout. My wife and I are seasoned Warner Customers but could weep over how standards have deteriorated. We reported a Health & Safety issue with our room, which was not addressed. There ar fewer facilities compared to our last visit ( there is no longer a games room) and the breakfast experience was, by any subjective or objective measures, lamentable. Little wonder Warner are hemorrhaging customers.Unlikely to return.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Holme Lacey. We have been regular visitors to Warners for years and always went to the same place. The last three years had been going downhill and we were ready to throw in the towel. However ona spur of the moment decision we decided to try Holme Lacey this time and thank goodness we did. This place is a little gem. Beautiful old building, wonderful gardens, the usual sports and pool etc. The staff were brilliant and professional and friendly. Nothing was too much. Food was good and the breakfast spot on every morning. The rooms were clean and fresh.Definitely going back. Holme Lacey saved the day.
