Black Lion in Herefordshire

I just love the Black Lion....the venue in and out...the food and service ...amazing everytime I visit!!

I went to Hereford on Good Friday.I spent a lot of my holidays in Hereford as a child but hadn't been for about 50 years. My boyfriend and I called into the Black Lion for a late lunch. We had the best steak pie I've ever tasted. We will definitely go again and it won't be 50 years till my next visit.

Fabulous honest food, large portions, polite happy staff. Kerry needs a mention as she looked after our dog (treats and water), served behind the bar and was also the chef all with a smile! Homemade pies were amazing too.

Popped in on Good Friday, nice warm welcome and great food. Thoroughly recommend the steak pie and the fish pie. Would definitely go again when in Hereford

Best Sunday pub lunch I've had! Thoroughly recommend.

22 of us went for our Christmas meal. It was a traditional one. The food and service was really good. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The place itself was clean and tidy. A few of the party have had Sunday roast there and they said it was lovely. Definitely going to try that. Thanks all.
