Bunch of Carrots in Herefordshire

All 6 of us have just had delicious meals from the menu (not the carvery although it looked and smelt lovely). Staff very helpful and attentive. Will definately return when we're in the area again.

Ordered chips instead of crisps with our sandwich. Didn't bring any. Then only brought one portion instead of the two we ordered. Prawns tasted of nothing at all. Just water, and at 10.50 each. Not good at all.

In the area for an event so first visit. The staff were really great so helpful and we appreciated being given a table at very short notice. Loved the ambience and decor but felt the carvery at £14 was overpriced and not the best quality. Very little cheese on the cauliflower, carrots almost raw and the gravy was quite bland. Overall though enjoyed our visit.

We went to the Bunch of Carrots the three of us for Sunday Lunch. My wife and myself were staying with her sister who lives not far from the restaurant/pub. We booked Lunch for 2:30 pm the place was busy when we arrived, we were shown to a table fairly quickly. Nice decor. My wife ordered the scampi chips and peas, her sister ordered the smoked haddock salmon and prawn in a Thermidor sauce with chips and peas. I ordered the carvery. 3 glasses of wine and a jug of water. The Carvery had 3 meats Pork Beef Turkey Yorkshire pudding stuffing ball a variety of vegetables roasted potatoes and boiled spuds. I had to queue up, but not for long. In that time fresh meat and vegetables kept coming out. All hot and very tasty, as I got back to the table my wife and her sister were served their food. We all enjoyed our food, and the girls also had desserts sticky toffee pudding with cream or ice cream I was too full from the Carvery. The place was still busy but well organised. Price was reasonable for the 3 of us. We will definitely be back again in the future and more of us.

The best a pub can get. Wood fires give a lovely smell in the air, a warm cosy/intimate atmosphere and good music. Insanely good food and super attentive/friendly staff. Couldn't recommend more.

Really nice country pub, lovely food, great service and friendly staff. We had the carvery which was nice. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We came here on a Sunday without a reservation and they were just able to squeeze us in! Had a vegan tart that was lovely, definitely tasted homemade not just a store bought one!

What a great place this is. Me and Her went for lunch yesterday and booked a table. We were initially offered a place in a rather crowded nook but , when asked, the member of staff very quickly offered us one with a little more space. Much better for us vulnerable oldies. I would like to stress that this was done without the gentleman batting an eyelid. He smiled and showed us to a better table. Makes such a difference.The carvery was excellent. Good, basic grub cooked well with tons of flavour and choice. Never let us down.Service was cheerful and even though they were busy and I love the warm, pub feel with the smell of cooking and woodsmoke and no piped music.

Lovely meal in a very traditional pub,lovely cosy fire and great range of beers and ciders, staff were very attentive and welcoming.we will be back

Great country pub that’s dog friendly too. Finding a dog friendly pub has been surprisingly difficult in this area. They allow dogs inside, and serve a great roast carvery even on a Friday. Friendly staff who are happy to serve even if you get your food order in just before their food cut off time. Highly recommend a visit!(Pictured: Beef roast carvery)
