Absolutely no way on earth that these prices can be justified. Nearly Β£30 for 2x fish&chips is outrageous. Even with current fuel prices, it works out cheaper to drive to Leominster or Craven Arms for twice the amount of food!I know they swear by the quality of their product, but the food had been cooked way before our collection time and kept warm, making the chips feel soggy like microwaved chips. After 4 years of supporting a local business, we will not be coming again unless something changes.

Wow, what can I say.We came and visited after seeing you won an award in the paper. When I came to order there was a long queue, I soon got to order and was told there would be a wait due to the volume of online orders and shop orders (which was fine as we were having a drink in the pub next door), I was asked for a phone number as I would receive a text to let me know when its ready.20 minutes later I had a text to say it was ready, not bad considering the queue. Now, my husband could talk the ears off an old mule, but there was nothing but pure silence whilst he was eating. The batter was light & crispy, the cod was succulent with big flakes of white flesh and the chips were golden and fluffy. Needless to say we both throughly enjoyed it and can see why you've won awards.Even with you being busy the service we received was spot on. The shop is clean & spotless, allergy chart on the wall, awards proudly on display, the most high tech shop I've been to. (Better than the service we received from next door)We will definitely be back, and we'll bring the rest of the family.Keep up the good work.Natasha & Stephen

I visited The Fiddlers Elbow in January with my father, taking him for a trip out to cheer him up as he is now unable to drive himself. We were very much looking forward to the consistently 5 starred ( would give 10 if they were available!) and always fantastic fish and chips and homemade tartar sauce and hoping as usual to sit in next door at The Sun Inn to enjoy an accompanying pint, a facility they have popularly offered for many years....We were dismayed to find that the recent new landlord of the pub has unbelievably put a stop to this! It was such a lovely way to spend an inclement or winters day and would implore the new landlord to resume this facility, perhaps he doesn't realise how appreciated it was and boost to their popularity.

Ideal sized portions and excellent quality Fish and Chips. Delicious fried food taste without an excess of cooking oil in the food.

We had a regular cod and chips and large haddock and chips to takeaway (such a shame the pub no longer let's you eat in the parlour) and as always they were lovely. The haddock was so big it had to be wrapped up separately!

A small fish and chip shop in the rural village, just off the village green. You can pre-order or just turnup, but it is all cooked freshly.Just had chips which were good, but a larger portion was Β£2.95, and they don't take cash. Overall it did seem a tad expensive, but they were totally fresh and it's just a small local business.

Always lovely food cooked to order. Good quality fish and chips . Never oily , great service.

The best fish and chips ever and gluten free as well. Fish always tastes so fresh. Premises are spotlessly clean. Just can't rate the whole experience high enough.

Oh my goodness, so yummy. I had a mini fish and mini chips which was an ample portion for me. Everything is freshly cooked and all gluten free. The mushy peas are lush and home made as is the tartare sauce. The gravy was so tasty too. An online exclusive was the pineapple fritter, a fantastic finish to a very tasty meal. Online ordering very simple and easy to navigate. Staff are polite and friendly. They are environmentally friendly too with their packaging. Well worth a visit. Lentwardine for a small village is very lucky to have such an award winning fish and chip shop. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
