Came upon this place tucked down an alley. The food and staff were great, we could not fault them. Quality food, cooked well and very generous sized portions. Definitely worth a visit

Cozy place to hang out with friends and family over food and drinks. My first experience visiting was alright. Didn't try their food as I was intending to have coffee and cake only. Sadly they didn't have cakes. So, we only tried their coffee, which was alright. Hence, 4 stars for now.

Really nice wine bar and bistro. Well set out and a great selection of drinks and foods. Have a lovely outdoor area undercover with heating. Also have cushions and blankets available to use so makes in really cosy.Staff were really friendly and helpful when we asked some questions.Well looked after and smart place. Music wasn't to loud so you could talk easily.

We were left very disappointed with what should of been a good night. To start with our table was very small for a party of nine. They expected two members to sit on the two corners of the table it was that small. So complaint number one was made and two more tables were added. Seven of us had pre ordered a Turkey Xmas meal with all the trimmings but towards the end of our meal we noticed the trimmings were missing, so complaint number two was made. After we all had finished eating the Head Chef appears with a bowl of our missing trimmings saying it was a oversight. We said we had wanted them with the meal not after and it wasn’t acceptable to appear with a bowl after we had all finished. His attitude was very disappointing to say the least. One of our group had ordered a lamb shank with cheesy mash as stated on the menu. He asked for some mint sauce but told no they didn’t have any. He asked a different member of staff and she said yes straight away (she was very helpful). When the chef appeared the member of our group said the mash wasn’t cheesy mash to which the chef replied it was a cheesy risotto which wasn’t stated on the menu. We said on the menu it said cheesy mash so it must of been changed without notifying us. Again the chefs attitude wasn’t the best. We asked for some kind of compensation like a discount or a glass of wine each for the mishap but the chef just said what you want a bottle of wine just for a bit of stuffing and some pigs in blanket. Eventually we asked to complain to the manager who apologised and gave us a glass of wine each which in opinion was poor but something at least. Then it came to our dessert. We were waiting so long that eventually we had to go to the bar and ask where it was to be told dessert had to be ordered. We had pre ordered dessert from a set menu like the rest of our meal weeks ago which had to be explained. So they then had to go and enquire about it. After a bit dessert arrived nice but not great. Also as I went to the loo a member of staff went in before me. I heard her exit the cubicle but she went straight out without washing her hands. I do have to say two members of staff were good and tried their best. We weren’t offered drinks throughout the night and our table was only cleared of plates and a couple of glasses through out the night. We come here every year and have always had a good experience but this year will be our last.A very very disappointing night and for the money we paid. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately a really poor meal. Took about 40 minutes to arrive, one dish was cold, the bill was missing one bootle of wine, on being advised of this, they tried to charge us for 2! Poor/mediocre food and service.

Fairly large venue, inside and outside seating, very friendly staff, excellent choice of music (eg Morcheeba, Bebel Gilberto remix), excellent beers (also cocktails) and the 6 tapas for £21 a brilliant deal and very tasty - fried Halloumi sticks my favourite.

Amazing little find, up a (not the most inviting) alley-way. A real taste of Mediterranean food and atmosphere when you get there. Tapas was amazing and Jo & Catrina made us feel really welcome. Will definitely come back

A very difficult review to make. I've visited regular over the last 6-7 years.Firstly excellent friendly staff, quick service today. However, the place appears to have lost its soul. Has been always vibrant in the past.My outdoor table was covered in dead Ants. I do have a photo, I stopped myself from posting here. Well aware Ants are a headache from my own garden. But with effective pest control manageable.A favourite venue, I could have recommended to my best of friends now feels abandoned and I'd be embarrassed to make.
