Glass Tandoori in Herefordshire

First ever visit and was pleasantly surprised to find a very spacious and well appointed restaurant upstairs behind what is a very inauspicious entrance by way of single door out on to the street. Service was polite and prompt and the meal was excellent. They actually informed us that there was a Buy One Get One Curry Free offer which we were happy to take advantage of so poppadum's followed by 2 mains and some sides washed down with 2 Gin & Tonics all for £24. Perfect.

We had the most amazing takeaway last night the best we've ever had. Thank you we will not be ordering from enywhere else in the future 5 stars from us.

Food was really nice. Full of flavour Garlic Chili Chicken with plenty of texture and colour. Also a lamb korma which lamb was very tender. 5 stars from me, thankyou *****

We ordered a very large meal for my aunt's birthday in May, and they were excellent, having the whole order ready for us to take away within one hour. The staff were lovely too.All of the food was really exceptionally good, some of the best curry we'd had for a long while. We are not local to the area, but would recommend the Glass Tandoori to anyone looking for a fab take away or restaurant.

(this review is for the Glass Tandoor restaurant) Only leaving one star as zero is not an option. Waited 1 hr 50 mins for delivery and phoned 4 times (after waiting 1hr 20 initially) only to be rudely addressed by staff (Emma) and told food had left kitchen over 30 mins ago. Furthermore when attempting to ask questions and make general complaint I was routinely spoken over, told not to interrupt, and then hung up on. Dreadful service and attitude towards paying customers quite frankly. I cancelled the order in the end due their rudeness, buffoonery, and lies about timeliness of food readiness. Even after cancelling at 1hr 40 mins point, the food still turned up at 1hr 50 mins point, which essentially uncovered their earlier attempt to bluff me about food having left at the 1hr point. Do not use this company unless you want to wait a long time, be lied to, be rudely addressed, and get cold food.

Every year I go for my birthday and loved the food and service , well the waitress was so lovely but had to send one meal back as it was the wrong curry . It was taken back and no replacement offered but when going to pay which I declined for the one meal the rudeness from the male staff member was disgusting .he spoke to me like I was dirt . This is a shame as I would normally highly recommend the glass tandoori . My birthday evening ruined .

We dined on a Sunday evening when we couldn't find a roast anywhere in Hereford. We weren't disappointed with our choice. We were greated by a friendly host who showed us to our table and let us have the one by the window. She was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and made a recommendation of the best rice to have with my dish. We had starters pomadoms and a main dosh each and rice each. And shared a naan too which we were delighted with the presentation of been dived in the serving dish so we didn't have to take it. The presentation was excellent and the food even better. One of the best meals and dining experiences I have ever had. Our only regret was we weren't able to finish however the host kindly packaged for us so we could take home and have the next day. Great food, clean restaurant, excellent service and value for money. Strongly recommend this establishment.

Had many meals there, always been very good, food and service can't be faulted.Looking forward to going again on Thursday. Yum yum
