What a fantastic night! Outstanding food in the most beautiful setting. Off Grid Gourmet is really, really special. Bringing together a relaxed, convivial atmosphere with heaps of superb food is no mean feat, but Hugh pulls it off with aplomb. An absolute triumph. If you get the chance, then book yourself in. You'll be delighted you did.

This place is amazing and we'll definitely be going back. Hugh was a great host and all the food was fantastic. We even had leftovers which we took home for lunch. Hugh says skip lunch before hand but i'd suggest skipping breakfast as well as there was so much food. Great value for money and an idyllic setting.

A unique experience. The food is exquisite, the views and atmosphere are just a treat. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Unrivaled experience! The table overflowed with delicious labors of love. The location, while off the beaten path, is gorgeous - on a clear night the stars are magnificent. I could not recommend this enough. Thank you, Hugh for a memorable and cherished evening!

Absolutely amazing--I can't rate it highly enough. As much food as a medieval feast but with modern, refined cooking. Also very good for vegetarians.

An eating experience with a difference. Hugh's place is set amid orchards with a lovely view across the Wye valley. If you feel £30 is good value for a beautifully cooked, two course meal in such a unique venue, you will not be disappointed. If, after a long day's work and a hard evening's cycle, you would happily eat twice as much for half the price, you might feel a little underwhelmed.
