We ate here on Friday. The chips with the sandwich's were cold, we mentioned this to the waitress' who took the drinks off the bill. We then order dessert and the custard was cold and the sundaes were missing the chocolate sauce. The waitress' were friendly but wouldn't eat here again.

Stayed at the premiere Inn for a couple of nights and visited the adjoining beefeater pub for dinner, arrived at about 20:30 and was shown to a table just outside the main dining area even though it was virtually empty, at this point I was served by the most uninterested, snotty and miserable girl, everything was to much trouble for her, the plate was virtually dropped on the table, no how's your meal, nothing, it was almost the end of the world when I wanted to see the dessert menu. The food was very average and wasn't as shown in the menu. The long blonde haired serving girl should possibly consider a different occupation as hospitality is not for her. The breakfast service was totally different and all was good.

We waited a long time to be seated, then a very untidy female took us to our table which was like a large cupboard with 1 side open. We couldn't see other diners. Prawns over cooked and chewy but the lamb chops my husband ordered were lovely.

have never in my life eat a more disgusting food!!!!! I paid 45£ for frozen food, the steak was horrible i see a lot of good reviews that said "delicious, good food" what the heck is wrong with you people????? A bunch of peas and a piece of tasteless meat that means delicious food???????? When the waitress came with my boyfriend food she drop the steak knife on the floor and she just let it there and didn't brought a new one.I have received a bowl of no idea what that was but definetly was looking like my dog puke.I ordered a " absolut vanilla vodka with fresh strawberry", in the picture was looking so good but i have received 70% ice 29% juice and 1% vodka and the fresh strawberry in my dream!! Please don't waste your money on this s""t "restaurant

Stayed at the Premier Inn next door for a couple of nights. It appears to be very quiet here these days compared to memories of around 5 years ago.Visited just for drinks during our stay at the hotel on each occasion a long wait to be served at the bar. The bar and restaurant were almost empty. We were blanked by staff who were maybe unable to serve? They stood around the other side of the bar, preening. But to be not even acknowledged left us with a bad feeling. Lots of empty glasses left on empty tables.Ok for a quick local drink while staying at the hotel but I wouldn't recommend more.

My wife and I had a great start to the daywith breakfast at this lovely pub. Karen and Amanda looked after us so we’ll with friendly and happy service. The traditional breakfast was delicious and well cooked. The chef even came out to wish us Happy New Year and check the food was to our satisfaction. A perfect start to the day. Highly recommended 👍

Typical beefeater grub, steaks were cooked perfectly, my son opted for chicken burger, again cooked to perfection.Service was prompt and attentive, in all a nice experience yet again.Knocked off one star, due to the restaurant being cold, my wife had to put her coat on after the starter's, we were sat by a radiator, but heating was obviously off.

Food was just ok. Ribs for sure were better than gamon. If you are around and hungry I recommend going there

Terrible. Slow service, uninterested attitude, dirty tables. 10 chips with husbands steak, inedible roast beef. Was not checked so unable to complain, manager too busy talking at the bar with staff

This was a decent enough place for food and drinks. We chose to eat out on the outside tables on a nice summers day. The food was decent and we opted for Rump Steaks. Cooked well and served promptly.A nice straight forward place to eat and drink without the fuss. The pub is also well organised with covid and I enjoyed the one way maze to the toilet!
