Not massive and a little rustic but the food was fantastic and nice n spicy. Take your own booze as there's none available. Great service. Would definitely go back again.

Food was quite bland and small bits of chicken. Overpriced for what we got. Wouldn’t order again very average

First and last order from this Take away , food took 2 hours to arrive , was cold , portions where very small , really poor service, meat was chewy , I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone , we won’t use again that’s for sure !

Best makhani I've eaten in years, everything we got was very good. We'll be back

We've had a few takeaways from here, and while they are ok, they're not special. The menu is quite limited but there's generally something to suit most people I would've thought. The food is alright, but the portion sizes are small which is disappointing. And the sizes of the naan bread are laughable, so much so my hubby refuses to order them anymore as he feels cheated! The curries and sides are also quite watery to be honest. Also, despite always collecting on time, the food is never hot and we have to put it in the oven before eating. Like I say, the food isn't bad, but it is disappointing and could be so much better. Most recently, there was a curl of metal in one of the curries, the type you sometimes get when opening a can with a tin opener, so that's far from ideal, but I do accept, this can happen to anybody. Hubby has tried lamb dishes a few times now and the lamb is always tough, so he won't do that again. In summary, it's alright, but there are much better restaurants out there, if you can be bothered driving.

The food here is absolutely spot on. I had my favourite Chicken Tikka Vindaloo and I must say it was one of the best for flavour. I recommend sitting in and remember to bring your own alcohol as they are not licensed. 5*

Tried this as we were staying in the area. Doesn't open until 6pm. Very busy and you'll struggle to park outside although there's a car park not too far away. There's a seating area although it didn't appear to be open. Placed order over the phone and were given a time to pick up, found out afterwards that they do free delivery up to 10 miles. Arrived at given time and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for food to he ready. When we got back to where we were staying we discovered 2 missing dishes but due to the distance didn't bother calling to remedy. Food was average in both quality and portions, you don't get much meat in your curry. It's overpriced for what it is. There was a bone in one of the pieces of chicken too.

Wouldn't return, overall disappointing bland curry (lamb Balti), very sweet tika masala - tasted more like a korma. Caters well to vegetarians, service was good and it was cheap.p.s. Doesn't serve alcohol (good selection of canned soft drinks)

We've had a few take aways over the last few weeks. The first time we had the food delivered. The food was good but we were given the wrong rice and the food was cold. I complained and they offered 20% off our next order. The next time we ordered for delivery we were given and charged for an extra portion of rice that we didn't order. So much for a 20% saving.Tonight we collected an order. The food was poor. It was all cold. I'd even go as far as to say the nan bread was chilled. I couldn't eat half of the chicken in my Chicken Tikka main course because it was tough and gristlie. The waiting area / reception floor is filthy. I hope the kitchen is cleaner.

Ive visited the Taj Mahal many times and I've always found the food very tasty and there is always plenty of it. The staff are very friendly, especially Khan who always goes out of his way to make me feel welcome. The restaurant is always well presented and clean which represents the 4 star hygiene rating. I would highly recommend.
