The Best in Herefordshire

This is a must visit for Hereford. Really good and interesting location. Very big and 3 or 4 different areas and concepts (brunch, cafe, pizza and burgers i saw). Had a very good brunch there with friends. Has a really big outside area

However the food was nice, the service wasn’t great. They forgot our drink and food order, then we had to wait for our hot drinks again over 10 minutes. Mistakes can happen but a honest apology would have been nice.With out hot drinks order we were given wooden spoons (not single use) which I found unacceptable and not hygienic at all.Please get rid off them, they are just simply not what you should give to customers.

We have eaten at the bookshop twice.The first time, we had a Sunday roast which was absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t fault any part of the meal.The second time we ate was for an evening meal, which wasn’t quite as good as the Sunday Roast, but still very nice.The reason for my three star review, is that the communication is very poor. Since we have eaten, we have wanted to return and as suggested on the website, I have phoned and emailed to try and book a table but I have never heard back from any contact attempts which is very frustrating and disappointing.When your business is based around customer service, you should make every effort to respond when being contacted, even if you don’t have availability.

Had a lovely evening meal, most worthy. In particular the carrots, chips, monkfish and the dessert. Starters could've been better, but that's a minor issue.

Excellent staff, super friendly. Worth visiting just for the interior - stunning. Veggie breakfast is insane!

Our visit to The Bookshop was a delight! The service was great & The food was plentiful & tasty and flavoursome. What I especially liked was the TNTs! Reasonably priced An absolute must when your next hungry in the City of Hereford

As always with Rule of Tum (see also Burger Shop and Maneki Ramen), great food, lovely staff, excellent atmosphere. And look! A couple of my photos on the wall! (It surprised my wife to see a pic of one of our sons hanging there.)

We recently had a family Sunday lunch at the Bookshop. We elected to eat in the outside covered area that is equipped with patio heaters.On each occasion that we spoke to staff they were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us.The food was delicious with plenty of vegetables and piping hot.This is the second time we’ve eaten here and we cannot fault the food or the service. Thank you

Excellent modern steak-led restaurant. Fitting for the area the steaks we had, both rumps, were truly excellent. Highly recommended. There was also local beer on tap and a good wine list.

Fab place, staff are always so happy and friendly, food is amazing, really easy to order to your table through the website. Beautiful outdoor space with a really relaxing vibe. I love that you can order from any of the 4 restaurants to your table. Burgers are amazing, as are the loaded fries, my son had the Sunday lunch today and the beef was just out of this world. My new favourite place!
