Excellent food and very friendly service. Definitely worth a visit. Fully deserves it's average score of 4.8 (at time of writing). We stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious with excellent attention to detail in the preparation. Fantastic crispy onion rings that melted in the mouth and home made chips. A lovely scotch egg with a runny yolk. Lovely puddings marred only by slightly under done rhubarb with a pannacotta. The beer was lovely too.Service was prompt and friendly and the pub has a really nice atmosphere. Also dog friendly. We'll return next time we're in the vicinity.

We were visiting the local area at the weekend and wanted to stop somewhere for a Sunday roast - The Boot Inn did not disappoint! Gorgeous food for a fantastic price. Staff were all really attentive and even bought water over for the dog to keep him comfortable.Lovely setting and felt very Christmassy. Throughly recommend

Stopped for a bite to eat after a walk with the dogs. The staff were very customer focused. Ordered some food and what a surprise thinking just a mere burger and usual fish and chips. The chips were the best I've tasted, and the burger was freshly made and was delicious. Was definitely worth a visit.

Loved it so much we ate there twice on consecutive days. Lovely garden area with lots of undercover seating. A small menu but enough choice and great portions. The burger was very succulent and huge, and my husband loved the sea bass saying it was cooked to perfection is an amazing hot tartare sauce. Great desserts or ice-cream or sorbets. Staff were very friendly and efficient...all felt very covid safe.
