We had a lovely room in the newer building. Food was good, it has a nice cheery atmosphere in the bar which is used by locals and staff were friendly and accommodating. The spa was lovely with a great pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Kington is a nice town too.

Lovely roast dinner there today, top service from fantastic staff. Good value, well worth a visit.

I can only rate the bar and toilets as that's all I used. The main bar was pleasant and clean with lots of tables/chairs. I sat at a comfortable 2 seat box window table which was very nice. The barmaid was very good and the service quick.I had a sandwich and coffee both of which were very nice.Worth a visit if in the area.

Excellent food, good beer, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices, couldn't ask for more.We haven't stopped in the hotel, but regularly go for Sunday lunch or the odd meal in the week and I can honestly say, we have never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. If I had to change one thing, it would be the hotel could be in Pembridge, then I could walk there. But seriously, if you are looking for good food and drink, I have no hesitation is recommending The Burton Hotel.

Nice hotel in a small Herefordshire town. The gym and pool are super nice, and surprising in a town of this size. Stay Fridays and walk out straight into the local market. If you are in luck, the Belgian chocolate stall will be there. Great hotel as a base for walking the Offas Dyke path.

A friendly helpful hotel, bedroom had adequate drawers and wardrobe, TV and standard double bed, generous bathroom with shower over bath. We stayed in standard room, radiators kept room very warm for our January stay. John the owner very hospitable and accommodating, breakfasts freshly cooked to order, we ate evening meals in hotel also excellent. All staff were efficient and friendly especially Kat running breakfast service and behind the bar 👍 thanks for making my birthday special.

This is a really nice place to come for a quiet drink and a chat. It's most definitely a hotel bar and not a pub, but it's none the worse for that, it's just different. The staff are always friendly and efficient and they always have a good selection of real ale on too. We tend to come here when we just want to chill out and have a couple of beers in a nice, relaxed atmosphere and just chat amongst ourselves and put the world to rights!I can't comment on the accommodation side of it as we've only ever used the bar, but for a nice, relaxing drink, it's just a nice place to go. Comfy, warm, and good beer. What's not to like?
