The Butchers Arms in Herefordshire

Went for first time (we are new to the area)on a sunny Good Friday afternoon. Friendly bar service and banter, good pint and great garden. Menu looks really good, so (quote Schwartzenegger)....I'll be back!

Attended an 80th birthday lunch. Very busy at lunchtime with friendly and professional staff. Good well cooked roasts with plenty of vegetables and a wide range of desserts to follow. You need a good appetite to make full use of the food served.

Wonderfully quirky country pub. Lots of tasty local ciders and beers to enjoy, the home cooked food is delicious and the portions are massive. Absolutely worth a visit for a cozy pint or tasty treat!

We ate here twice during the past week. The welcome we received from the Landlady was brilliant, as was the food. The outside heated pods are excellent. We will definitely return when next in the area. Thank you!

Amazing amazing food. Would holiday nearby just to eat EVERYTHING from the menu. Staff friendly and welcoming, traditional comfortable atmosphere and great options on tap.

Lovely food giant portions very helpful friendly staff in a lovely setting. Olde world pub/restaurant, garden has eating pods in well planted garden. We had dining room for surprise party, thank you all at Butchers Arms

Top notch pub food. Big portions, sunday lunch comes with bowls of vegetables on the side. Fish and chips- the fish was as big as the plate!! Did not disappoint and we did not go home hungry. Lots of covered seating areas outside, well spaced out seating inside considering it is a very old little pub. The landlord and his staff are all very helpful. Definitely my go too pub.

We stopped to chance that their may be a table available and we were warmly welcomed. Plenty of outside table space with cute pods. Great variety on the menu and our meals were delicious. So pleased we can be back out dining out.

Lovely old,low beamed pub/ restaurant in the middle of the countryside. The food was perfect and well presented. In fact it was so tempting that I forgot to take pictures til we were half way through our meal! 😆 We all had different meals, ox cheek ,venison, pie, burger and battered fish, all of which were excellent. The ox cheek just melted in the mouth. The desserts were scrumptious and of decent size and the price tag was reasonable. Definitely deserves a second visit!
